“Clean and comfortable. Convenient for travellers heading to Lake Akan.”
Comfortable and quiet stay. There were limited availabilities for accomodation closer to Lake Akan, this was a great option for us being a bit more affordable and not too far away. There was plenty of car park space when we were there. Staff were very polite. Room was clean and matched expectations from photos on booking.

“Boutique hotel, good value for money. Good for one night stop.”
Small boutique Hotel, good value for money. we spent one night on our way to AKAN lake. the room are not too big but there is a bath in the bathroom so we can relax. there is a free car park, the lobby is confortable as well. the main road is just in front so it could be noisy on the morning but during the night it is fine.

“Nice, fresh-looking hotel.”
Modern facilities and the hotel looks quite new. Easy parking and a supermarket just down the road. A convenient place to stay when visiting the local area or travelling between the main Hokkaido tourism areas.

Decent spread for breakfast and it was pretty tasty. Ashoro is a quiet little town so we were glad that the hotel provided a spot of breakfast for us before we started our day.

“Value for money stay.”
The service from their staff were exceptional, I brought a melon and they helped me to cut up nicely for my family. The staff at Hotel Reus were very polite and helpful in general. Facilities, rooms were very clean and new. While the room maybe small, the beds were comfortable and we didn’t feel it was noisy even though the hotel was right beside the road. Breakfast maybe limited in variety but enough for a healthy meal. They have a pay as you use washer and dryer on the 2nd floor which was very useful. Overall a good value for money stop over hotel beside the road.
