Its location, temple across the road, supermarket easy walking distance, left , left, the right from entrance. Lovely shopping street around corner, turn right the right. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, good selection.

It was close to Ashikaga Flower Park. The staff were very helpful and recommended a great restaurant nearby. Gave us extra pillows.

“Good old fashioned hotel about 15 mins drive to the Ashikaga Flower Park”
We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel and enjoyed our two night stay here. Ashikaga is not the most charismatic of towns (although the Flower Park is exceptional) but the hotel location is very good: just opposite the Banna-ji temple and grounds, and very close to the Ashikaga Gakkō. Several restaurants and a big supermarket within walking distance. Like many Japanese hotels, the rooms are old fashioned but we quite like that.

“Great little spot”
Close to the train station and right next to a temple. In a nice quiet place. So many free facilities - laundry, buffet breakfast, onsite onsen with free rental kimono and obi, and bike rental! Comfortable bed in the room, i slept very well. Staff were all friendly.

The simplest hotel of our entire Japan trip — but also the cheapest, so it matched our expectations. The bed and pillow were just as comfortable as in other places, and there was free parking and free laundry self-service, which was a bonus.

We stayed for 1 night on our visit of Ashikaga floral park; It was a convenient arrangement for a short stay. The bathroom tub was too high for a senior like me to get in. I hope they can look into it.

“Decent place to stay.”
Decent breakfast. Very quiet and calm. Location is wonderful. We visited shrine early in the morning. Shrine view from hotel window. I love the place.
