We used their public bath - it was much smaller than expected but very clean and nice. The breakfast was very good with many Japanese style food options (not a whole lot of variety for non-Japanese food).

The onsen is relaxing and the breakfast is nice. Perfect spot for going to the train station. The staff are very nice.

The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. They tried their best to understand us (we spoke in English) and with their cheerfulness, and Google Translate, we managed well enough. I enjoyed the coffee, which the hotel provided free of charge in the hotel lobby. The public bath was a welcome addition.

The front desk staff at check in was helpful and tried to use a little English. They were also very patient when I inquired about attractions nearby. Kikuchi-san in particular provided excellent and friendly service. She was very helpful. All staff that I came in contact with were really polite. I also enjoyed the public bath, though it’s a little small.

Excellent location for both stations. Easy access to the Flower Park and pottery museum. Room was comfortable and very spacious. Good breakfast. Staff very polite and helpful.

Very nice hotel, I was there second time and i enjoyed my stay. Its quiet, great sound isolation, they have onsen, great breakfast, very polite people, everyday they change all equipment. Im always very satisfied there. There is also parking available, laundry and dryer.

“An okay hotel for a 1-night stay”

Free parking at the location. The hotel is very close to the train station so quite convenient for a ride to the flower park. It seemed like we were the only foreigners staying there and they did their best to accommodate us.

We went to Ashikaga only because we wanted to see the wisteria at the Ashikaga Flower Park this time of the year. The location of the hotel is very good, as it is only a short walk to the train station which is one stop away from the flower park. The hotel even has a nice onsen, which is very handy to relax there after a day trip.

“Nice hotel but super-hard bed!”

Hotel is pleasant and staff very nice. It’s close to the JR station so handy for the flower park but note that the main station which has the Tobu express trains is further away. I got a taxi from that station to the hotel (JPY 1000) and when I left used the hotel shuttle service (you need to book). The hotel has a public bath which is a nice addition. Breakfast was okay though very crowded when I arrived.

“Excellent hotel for visiting the Flower Garden”

The hotel is near the station and convenient for a visit to the Flower Park. Breakfast is traditional Japanese and dinner was excellent value. Extensive menu and friendly staff. There is very little English spoken but we managed with a translation app. Our room was perfectly fine for our needs. The beds were very hard! It also had a window we could open for fresh air and a view over the town.

We wanted to visit the Ashikaga Flower Garden and this hotel was very convenient. Free parking was an added bonus for me. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

The hotel is close to the train station. The room is spacious enough. The view from the room is nice. They have an onsen onsite, although they mention it's a man-made one, it's still a good experience using the onsen. The staff was quite helpful providing travel information to me.
