Peace and quiet, comfortable and warm. It was well lit for the nightly trip to the bathroom. Loved all the little extras in the cabin eg chocolates, biscuits.

The perfect place to relax after a long day on the road. Very peaceful spot. Kirsten was welcoming & so respectful. The cabin has a chill vibe & everything you could possibly need.... Nothing has been forgotten. I will be back. Thank you

This was such a lovely sanctuary after a very long drive. Kirsten was an extremely gracious host. The room it self was cozy, impeccably clean and was nicely decorated with lots of cool touches. I truly did not want to leave! Definitely would stay there again. Felt very safe as a solo female traveler.

“Warm, cozy, feel like a home”

Clean, comfortable, the cabin was decorated warmly and cozily by the host, felt like a home. Treats, cookies, tea, coffee and milk were provided. Bathroom was tidy too. The place is in the residential area, very quiet at night, but the road is a bit dark if you arrive lately

Lovely bolt hole on the outskirts of Ashburton. As description says it's small and the private bathroom requires you to walk outside into the main house, however it's very cosy and ideal for a single person who is out and about most of the day. They are building a larger cabin with ensuite facilities so look out for that. And the host is very friendly.
