“A lovely place, calm with the most wonderful view.”

The view, the place, the people and the food! They were super helpful, and with their boat, brought us to Philae Temple and back. Organized taxi to go to Aswan. Their homemade food was delicious.

The owner was very helpful, they made very delicious nubian dinner for us, took us by boat to Philae Island and ordered a taxi for us.

Serene location next to the Aswan low dam and close to the Philae temple. We had a room overlooking the river,you could spend hours observing the river and the gentle movement of the boats. The manager and staff were welcoming and warm. The property has it's own boat and can take you to and from the Philae temple for a reasonable fee. They also arranged for a Felucca ride.

Everything was perfect from the start to the departure. The staff are very helpfull and polite they took care of everything and they make sure you have a wonderful experience. They made me food around 9pm and I could eat beside the water, the rooms are very clean and confortable, the view is incredible. They offer you transportation in boat from the hotel to the Philae temple and they come back to pick you when you are done. The owner is very nice and take good care of customers satisfaction. They are making renovations to build a coffee and a restaurant so this is going to be a top destination to stay in a very near futur. Don't worry they make the renovations on another building and they are very quiet I didn't know they were working until they showed me. Thank you I recommand this place.

Amazing place for staying in Aswan. Fantastic view, nice and friendly staff. The owner is patient and always help you to get maximum from your experience in Aswan. I have to say about meal. We arrived at 3 pm and I didn't order lunch before arrival, but when I did it the proper lunch was served in 15 minutes. You can always find water in a fridge and hot water in a shower. If you want to make a trip to some nice places Said ready to help you and provide transfers. Already plan my next trip and for sure will stay here again.

Located on the banks of the Nile, near the Philae Temple, the guesthouse boasts stunning views. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the guesthouse facilities and breakfast were excellent. I hope to return again someday.

“A most memorable stay”

Looking out over the water with hundreds of motorboats a unique Aswan view, absolutely stunning — beautiful by day, magical at sunset, and dotted with sparkling lights at night. As others have mentioned, the location is a little remote, but honestly, that added to its charm. We used InDrive to get there without any problems, and it was very affordable. Said, the host, was incredibly helpful. He arranged a private motorboat for us to buy tickets to Philae and then continue on to the island, all for a very reasonable fare. We watched the sunset with a Coke and crisps from the small shop about five minutes up the road (you’ll pass it on your way in) before then enjoying dinner. Traditional Nubian cuisine — which was tasty, filling, and well-priced. The vegetable tagine was especially good, though there was a funny misunderstanding when our charades suggested otherwise! A quick Google Translate cleared it up and we all had a laugh. After dinner, we relaxed in the shared area and chatted with Said before turning in early for our Abu Simbel pick-up. A truly memorable and peaceful stay.

The property is in a colorful Nubian style. It can be reached by boat or by car. The location is a bit far from city center but close to Philae Temple. There is a big living room and a balcony where you can enoy the Nile view. Mr. Wanas is a nice person. He helped us with transportation and other things. Nice Breakfast.
