Overview
Centrally set in the old historical district of Asenovgrad, Hotel Old Times’ stylish design mixes traditional Bulgarian Renaissance elements with elegant modern furnishings. It provides free Wi-Fi and an à la carte restaurant serving Bulgarian and International cuisine. A balcony with mountain views and wooden floors, as well as custom-made pieces of furniture are available in all rooms. Its facilities also include air-conditioning, cable TV and private bathrooms with shower or a bathtub. Guests of Old Times Hotel can dine out in the lush garden or spend a relaxing evening indoors, beside the fireplace in the traditional old-style tavern, ordering local specialties and wines. Hiking in the area or a walk to the ruins of Asen’s Fortress (Asenova Krepost), 2 km away, can be enjoyed. Shuttle services to Plovdiv Aiport, 15 km away, are offered at a surcharge. It takes 2-minutes drive by car to reach Asenovrad’s bus and railway stations, while Bachkovo Monastery is a 10-minute drive away. Free private parking is provided as well.

“Another thoroughly enjoyable stay”
This was our second visit to this lovely hotel, and once again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was only for one night this time, but we had a lovely room with a good-sized balcony. The bathroom had a jacuzzi bath and shower and the whole place was spotlessly clean. The staff are lovely, very friendly and welcoming.

“Cool place to stay for more than one night”
Nice place to visit and stay more than one night. It is near the city centre and you can even walk in the mountains from the place. Room was clean, staff nice and helpful. Car park is nearby. Nice yard inside the place.

Very noisy and poorly maintained. Dogs barking, people walking constantly on the floors, squeaking floor boards and doors. Beds and pillows very uncomfortable.

“Great value for money and super friendly staff”
Great little hotel with wonderful staff. The rooms are a bit dated but all of them have a wonderful view and for this price you really get value for your money. The location was walking distance from great restaurants, tucked away in a small street next to a river. They provided free parking on site and both our rooms had a private balcony with a stunning view. The rooms are very spacious and provided with all you need for a comfortable stay (including a fridge, tv, good wifi connection, spare blankets and pillows and a cute sitting area). If you book with them directly you get a much better price!

“Amazing hotel, great town, highly recommended”
The location was great, just a few minutes walk from the town center. Our room was large, well furnished, and comfortable, with a large balcony. THe breakfast was great, good choice every day. Could not fault the hotel in any way - the staff were lovely and helpful, the hotel was spotless and looked the part, too. There was free parking, right outside the hotel, where we could see the car from our room.

“Great stay in a picturesque small town in Bulgaria”
The location of the hotel is perfect and within walking distance to the center of Asenovgrad. The setting is idyllic. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was tasty and we ordered sandwich with ham and cheese and French toast with jam.
