Warm welcome by the owners, they really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome! They also gave us slme great recommendations for dinner. The breakfast is good, we'll furnished buffet with a selection of excellent local fresh bread.

“Really happy about our stay - will definitely come back and stay at Garni Golf.”
Family room was massive. The king size bed was so big that we ended up sleeping all four of us (we have two kids) in the same bed. Breakfast was simple but very good. Owner are extremely cordial. Location is superb.

Our two-night stay felt like a true vacation. We enjoyed the hotel's location – being just steps from fantastic gelato, the beautiful lake shore and a variety of restaurants. It was all incredibly convenient. The staff's kindness made us feel welcome. A simple but delicious breakfast was waiting each morning. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We arrived by car, and the public parking is only a short walk away.

“We always enjoy Ascona”
Property well situated near the front at Ascona. It is a family run hotel and the owners were welcoming and hospitable. We had a great breakfast and as we checked out, we were presented with a Maggiore Bread.

“Home away from Home”
The hosts were wonderful - they are super friendly and helpful and speak a number of languages. The breakfast was brilliant and we had a lovely room, spacious and quiet with a coffee machine fridge and enormous bed. The bathroom was large and impeccably clean. The position of the hotel was perfect, just off the main waterfront, so we could walk to everything. The hotel has a lovely cosy ambiance - it is our second time staying there and we would definitely book again. A home away from home. xx

“Perfect stay in Ascona. Wonderful place”
I booked my dad in here for our short stay in Ascona and he couldn’t speak highly enough of his experience here. The couple who own it are absolutely lovely, so friendly and helpful and treat you like family. I came to collect him one day and they let me sit with him and breakfast and offered me tea/coffee even though I want staying there. Breakfast was great, room was spotless and very comfortable. On departure they gave my dad a lovely homemade loaf of bread. I’m hoping to return next year and hope to get myself booked in here!

Fantastic family-run hotel, with a personal touch, very friendly, great location, good facilities, excellent breakfast, and nearby parking. The hotel is owned and run by a couple (supported by Melody, a lovely little dog), who truly care about their business and about their clients. They are extremely friendly and helpful, engaged and personal. Thank you for making our stay special! The hotel has an excellent location, just off the promenade. Some of the rooms on the third floor offer stunning lake and mountain views from the balconies. The rooms are in very good shape, with all the necessary facilities. Breakfast is fantastic, offering exquisite local bread and meat, as well as fresh fruits (the pineapple was deliciously sweet). Although the hotel is located in the car-free zone of Ascona, it offers private parking within three minute walking distance from the hotel. Upon arrival and departure, you can even drive through the pedestrian zone to reach the hotel to load/offload luggage. Contact the hotel for details. Now that we know this hotel, on our next visit to Ascona we will for sure stay here again.

“Excellent vacation”
- Sparkling clean rooms, a super large bed and comfortable linens, well maintained facilities with good-old European style. - Personal and warm service from the host, healthy breakfast, special kudos to the hard-boiled eggs - Generous offer of a bottle of delicious water every day - Lcated in a cozy alley right by the lake, very peaceful small-town feeling with the church bell reminding you of time. - The cleaning ladies nicely folded my pajamas 👍
