Surrounded by a Mediterranean garden in the hills above Ascona, Casa Berno features a heated outdoor pool and a sun terrace overlooking Lake Maggiore. Free WiFi is available. The rooms all feature a minibar, satellite TV, and a bathroom with bathrobes and hairdryer. All rooms in the main building have a balcony offering panoramic lake views. Guests can enjoy Ticino specialities, Swiss cuisine, and international dishes in Casa Berno’s restaurant. Casa Berno also features sun beds. Massages are available on request. Stunning location up on the hillside. Fabulous views. Swimming pool with jacuzzi jets is wonderful. Sauna has full glass panoramic windows. Lovely addition of spa area and quiet room. Great transfers to Ascona.

Every things they really take care of every little details. Staff were wonderful all of them no exceptions. Location the panoramic few you wouldn’t find it any where else. The panoramic suite was amazing . One of the best hotel I have visited in my life

The views are exceptional from the balcony in the room, pool area, restaurant and breakfast restaurant. Sauna has a glass window with lake view - stunning. Good food, drinks and great service. Free parking.

“Not for us, but great view of the lake”
The view from the room and the hotel terrace and restaurant was stunning. The suite was spacious. Upon checking out, we were given two bottles of water and a gift of a small sample size olive oil. Drinks and snacks at the hotel bar were very good. They had an extended shuttle service that went into the evening due to the jazz festival.

“Quiet resting place with a beautiful lake view.”
This hotel is located in a very quiet and beautiful place, it is suitable for those, who like to have a rest without being disturbed. Very beautiful lake view from all hotel rooms, aswell as from the restaurant. Very friendly personnel. Swimming is possible in the pool and also in Lago Maggiore (10 minutes by car). Mountine bikes are free available, e-bikes for rent. In conclusion, we were very satisfied.

The view is breathtaking, you can arrange a shuttle from the train station to the hotel and viceversa, the Spa and the pool are for sure a plus and the staff is really attentive.
