Restaurant closed, bar closed, only self-service drinks available from the fridge in the lobby. No fridge in the room, no A/C. Towels thin and old. The house remembers better times for sure. Friendly staff can´t compensate the overall disappointment.

“I obviously would not visit this hotel again or recommend it to anyone.”
On booking a room at this hotel I stated that we had two dogs and that I was coeliac and cannot eat anything containing gluten. However, on arrival I was told they thought we had cancelled our booking, but not to worry they had a vacant room! In addition they were not aware that we had two dogs for which we had to,pay extra. The morning breakfast meal was a disaster, when asked I was told that the food was gluten free however, I was suspicious about the meat loaf and showed the waitress a card (in German )detailing what a coeliac can and cannot eat and was then told I cannot eat the meat loaf! In addition I was then told that bread was gluten free but was severed in a dish with ordinary bread beside it! So they had no understanding about cross contamination and how serious this is.
