“Nice stay”

We stayed at this small hotel for one night while hiking on the GR10. The man at the bar/reception gave us a glass of cold water before anything else. It was very much appreciated on a hot afternoon. Room was adequate and the bed was comfortable. Shower worked well too.

Beautiful property, exposed beams, comfortable bed in cosy room. It was small, but nicely decorated. Fabulous terrace for dinner. Friendly service with a big smile. Everything you want as an English/australian couple for a great French basque experience.

Food was absolutely amazing! The room was nice and simple, enough for what we needed after a day of walking.

“Trabenia”

A welcome respite after an arduous trek on Stage 1 of the GR10 -- Hendaye to Olhette. We also encountered a personal issue and Greg and Candice were more than helpful in making us welcome. The rooms are nice, clean comfortable. The food was excellent. The kitchen works hard to create flavourful and inventive dishes. A lovely stay despite our family problem.

Very nice location, very close to the main roads to reach Hendaye or get to the motorway to Spain. Have an Unique view with mountain in front of the Auberge. Very nice staff and place is clean and lots of space to park the car.

Felt like a family run small bed and breakfast (which is also an evening restaurant) in a somewhat remote but very nice area of south west France. Room we choose was small but well planned, tidy and with good air conditioning = good value for money. We did not try the restaurant but it looked and smelled very nice so probably next time. :)

The hosts are very friendly, the breakfast and the dinner excellent.

A lovely small clean boutique hotel. Great village atmosphere. The staff gives a quick response. Really pleasant stay. The restaurant is excellent and the food is wonderful. Everything is beautiful!!!! Super nice and kind people!
