Breakfast was very good, the room was comfortable and clean. The staff were patient, I don't speak Japanese but there was no problem, the staff spoke Japanese, and the guide on the TV was also available in English. There is parking available at a reasonable rate.

It's super near supermarket and convenient store! can walk to JR station in couple minute. very good choice for traveler who use public transport. breakfast is ok, not have much seat for everyone, but you can go and grab food to eat in your own room.

The hotel staff at reception were very welcoming and offered to help with the self-check-in system. (No problem ;o). The was comp@act and very well designed. The breakfast buffet was varied: simple and tasty. The staff at breakfast were a delight: so welcoming and cheerful to all and sundry - tourists, business travellers, others. This was my first visit to this region / suburb of Tokyo. I wanted easy access to both Ikebukuro and Kawagoe using the Tobu Line. The Tobu LIne is a major commuter line: jam packed at the peak hours into and out of Ikebukuro. Try to travel off-peak. Or, travel in the opposite direction to the commuters, if you can. As the name suggests, the hotel locates itself imediately 'north' of the JR station ("eki"), "Kita-asaka". The JR and Tobu LIne stations intersect here in Asaka-dai and you can walk between them in less than a minute. A little further away from Tokyo is Kawagoe, "Little Edo", a small, historically interesting and visually pretty city. The effort made by staff in the tourist information office along with the shop keepers etc. in "CoEdo" do their friendly best to make a one day visit memorable. I was lucky enough to have time to combine business with leisure during the two nights I stayed at Toyoko Inn. If you plan to eat out in Asakadai, try the several restaurants (izakaya) located in a line under the JR railway viaduct, less than five minutes walk from the hotel. There are also two large-ish supermarkets nearby.

(1) less than 3-min walk from the station (Kita-asaka), so there are plenty of restaurants around if you wish to dine-out (2) convenient and still pandemic-alert method of giving the room's electronic card, if you made your reservation in advance (3) the breakfast is good enough (bread, pasta, soup, drinks, veggie salad) (4) polite and helpful staff

Breakfast was great. It's a quiet little town , comforting to return to after tiring day
