“Great accommodation and excellent breakfast.”
The breakfast was totally delicious. You couldn't have wanted for better. It was enough Japanese for Japanese travellers and enough also to satisfy foreign guests.

Be aware you are able to book smoker rooms, and I unintentionally booked one, then was charged an additional fee to change my room. Other than that, rooms are large but modest, location is good, and buffet breakfast is a good addition.

“Adequate but uninspiring”
The room was clean. We couldn't work out the air conditioner and it was really ineffective. Power points were awkward and we needed more. The breakfast buffet was very small but adequate. Parking was good and the room size could be bigger or a smaller bed.

Our room was big enough and also bath tab was nice. There is free drink corner and also break fast was superb. Eventhough price was cheap the quality and service was very good.

“Comfortable, spacious and loved the stay”

“Great location. Terrible desk hostess”
Hotel with a rocambolesque rococo style. Rooms were pretty kitch but in the right way. On our last night we were woken up by the staff at 6:30 in the morning, and asked to pay for our room even tho it was paid already. The lady then insisted and knocked at our door several times!! Honestly catastrophic behavior. Who would wake customers up at 6:30 AM???

Worth the stay just for the cool old design! This place must have been something in the 80s. Like a time capsule, old but in a cool way and not worn out. Not sure if it was shut for a while preserving everything or it's just the Japanese respect for other peoples property.

Breakfast was delicious and filling for a day exploring the mountains. The bath tub + sauna in the room was the most pleasant surprise, so relaxing! I wish we have had an extra night there!

The staff at reception gave instructions in both English and Japanese, which was nice for the members of our party who didn't speak Japanese well. We arrived a bit late, but there was no problem in checking in. The entire building feels like it was once a series of apartments, down to the layout of the hallways and the hotel room doors, which I liked. The room was not what I was expecting from the photos - but it wasn't bad! It was definitely very unique. There was a good selection of food for breakfast, and there are even take-out containers (which we used to bring food for the member of our group who overslept).

“A bit run down but good breakfast, large and comfortable room and good value for money”
Room was big and comfortable. Location is a bit off the main strip but easily walkable. During winter with luggage, you definitely need to take a taxi from the train station. For an included breakfast, it's quite good! Also had complimentary welcome whiskey from a machine.
