Amazing hospitality, the family were so welcoming and kind. They invited us for dinner at grandmas house during Ramadan. The food was delicious, such an amazing experience. Good location, beautiful scenery. Basic rooms but good wifi. Breakfast was included, which was delicious. Would highly recommend Safi Kitchen ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It is a lovely place with great and friendly hosts who prepare delicious food and create a warm welcoming atmosphere. Really worth recommending!

I had a great time with Safi and his big family. A unique experience and a good way to get a insight into the local Jordanian life. Very good locally produced food and a nice bonfire in the evening. The room was in a quiet separate house.

The food was amazing. The family provided a farm to table service, couldn't be fresher. We got a free tour of the village, including knafeh and a look behind the scenes of a local bakery. The family is really friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend if you want to experience rural jordan.

The best about Safi Kitchen is the family managing it. It is heartwarming to experience hospitality as a big family, try great locally grown and homecooked meals y listen to the stories of life with cup of tea brewed on open fire

The owner and his family are amazing people, they are really kind and we can only recommend to stay here.

“Peace and quiet of village life”

Go no further for local traditional experience with a family seeking to make a difference. Go off the beaten track and experience home food (in large quantities), great knowledge of the area (especially if you want to go hiking!) There was both a working AC and a fan in the room, ehich was perfect. Near to the dead sea so a good midway stop when going by car.

The hostel is a family business, and the food they cook is delicious.

Great familiar atmosphere, top hospitality, the owner and his family did their best to make me feel like at home. The food was good and portions were big.

Lovely accommodating friendly family who look after you, place is no luxury, but does it's job. For a local experience, there is no better!

This family are the most kind people of Jordan. Very kind, the food is amazing. The woman is the best chef in cooking of all Jordan. Their son is a guide, studies toerism. The hostel is big, clean and has a huge roof terrace. Its the best place to visit Dead.Sea, Wadi Numeira, Wadi al Hassa, Wadi Mujib and the cave of Lot. Highly reccommended.

It was very quiet when I stayed, but I did very much enjoy my stay. The host and family were really nice and accommodating. It’s a very humble place, so don’t expect much, but has everything you would need and quite comfortable.

The family and staff were super welcoming and genuinely nice people, one of them took me around and showed me a little of the village which was a nice gesture, overall great stay and perfect for a stopover between the dead sea and wadi Rum!

“Hostel with a home- atmosphere”

Nice, friendly Hostel in a village between farms. Spacious room with air conditioning and comfortable beds. Right after arrival we were offered coffee and dinner. The dishes were prepared by the hostess herself. I have never eaten a tasty meal like this anywhere else. Among other dishes were turnip rice, beans and bread. Very friendly owner. We spent time with him and his family. Very nice atmosphere, we felt at home. In the evening he showed us the surrounding villages and we could try the traditionally baked bread by his cousin. A wonderful trip. We asked for breakfast at 7:00 am, there was no problem. It was prepared by the owner's son. We highly recommend this hostel.
