“Good place for overnight stays at Swiss/Italian border.”
Great location close to Lugano lake. Good for our family with five children, using two rooms. Good restaurant attached for diner.

“Good value for money”
Location, area looks amazing and is quiet, breakfast was sufficient, rooms are adequately equipped and clean. Staff was helpful with our very very late check-in.

Service, were willing to open the restaurant despite it being their day off Basic but Comfortable beds. Basic but Good breakfast, plenty of variety for adults en kids (as in savory/sweet, bread/croissant Chocolat/regular cornflakes)

Picturesque hotel in the old village. The people are nice and the beer good. My room had a shared bathroom but also had a sink in it which was a great asset, I really loved the breakfast.

The staff were the friendliest people I have ever met and I have travelled a lot. Nothing was to much trouble. Location is steeped in history loved it all!

“Hot and stuffy. Excellent restaurant at usual exhorbitant swiss prices.”
The corner room for 4 persons is above the outside bar. Chain smokers were there until 2am. This means you either suffocate from smoke or close the window and die of heat exhaustion. The windows are SW facing with no 'shades' or shutters. No ventilation is provided. The beds were very soft but otherwise the room is fine.
