“Amazing hotel with historic vibe”

The staff is absolutely amazing, I have never been to a hotel with more welcoming staff and owner. They did everything to accomodate us and we were very grateful. We stayed here before and after our mountaineering trip. I liked the vibe of the hotel, nice views from the balcony and comfortable traditional design and decoration. You can see that this place has a unique history. Excellent parking for cars, easy access from the main road.

A lovely old style hotel with so much fascinating history that has been in the same family for generations. And such friendly owners. We loved it. There are fewer and fewer of these gems. It’s also in a beautiful mountain village set on a stunning gorge.

I loved the village but the hotel is so clean and has the most clean bathroom with bidet. The bedding on the beds was beautifully ( artistic) and the beds most comfortable. I loved the beautiful array of antiques and bric-a-brac all placed in the correct and theatrical way to remind us of the hotels history. The staff are kind, helpful. I would recommend this hotel. Many could say different things but after the Bernard pass a perfect place. I did not want to leave the room or the bed topper….. A fabulous restaurant about 5 mins away, that was really nice. The hotel breakfast was good.

Perfect overnight stop driving down to Italy. Clean, comfortable, welcoming and great value for money. Authentic Italian food and lovely little town with fabulous views and an iconic Roman bridge. Great place to come to practice your Italian!.

A gem of a family run hotel. The building itself and the interior have lots of character and it shows how hard the family work to make sure guests have a great stay and have everything they need. Great views, rooms nice and cool with good bathrooms and lovely falling asleep to the sound of the river nearby. Silvana and Angelo and the family made us feel very welcome. Good continental breakfast. As we arrived quite late in the evening we were too late to have the evening meal so got takeaway pizza locally. Wish we had had the time to stay a second night and have the evening meal as it looked lovely.

Helpful and friendly service staff. Give us their graden to enjoy till midnight as we wish. Calmful Village to stay. Enough parking area in front of hotel.
