A lovely resort in a beautiful location! We stayed at this property for 7 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the calm and tranquility. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. One of the highlights of our stay was the fish buffet night. I especially loved the moment when the owner’s young son said a prayer before the meal, it was such a special and heartfelt experience that made the evening even more memorable. Highly recommended! We would happily stay here again.

“Exceptional resort.”

This resort exceeded all expectations and provided one of the best vacation experiences we have had. Arrival at the airport saw us greeted with beautiful fresh laI’s and helpful staff organising collection of baggage and transport. On arrival at the resort, following a short briefing we were personally shown to our villa. We decided to splurge and have the beachfront villa (the best decision ever) and within a few paces we were snorkelling in the pristine lagoon. The coral and tropical fish were so good we decided to defer the boat trip to another visit as there was enough for us to do. Breakfast is included here and it was so nice to have a breakfast menu with so many choices. It was a generous and well presented array. Whilst the kitchen had an issue with the exhaust fan, restricting some of their regular operations, they still compensated with BBQ nights. The Island Night is recommended too. We met the resort manager a few times throughout our stay and he like his team was engaging and spent time with the guests. It really provided a personal touch. It was also great to see how this resort is committed to renewal and quietly in the background had a team of staff repairing, renewing and repainting so that everything was at its peak. The Henry Family should be rightly proud of what they have achieved with Temanu Resort and the Manager and Staff should be proud that they represented the family so well in their duties. We resolved………. We will be back.

Rooms are absolutely perfect. Comfortable and clean but with a gorgeous island aesthetic. The little outside shower area is great, so much so we didn't even use the inside shower. Love the balcony and daybed. Lovely shaded beach, and you can see so much sealife in the lagoon just by wandering or kayaking.

Spacious room, beautiful location, loved the outdoor shower. Staff were very friendly. Meet and greet at airport was lovely and we appreciated ‘manager’s drinks’ one evening.

There was so much to like about staying at Tamanu Beach Resort. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, light and airy. Nice bathroom with an additional outside shower. The breakfasts and dinner we had at the restaurant were good and reasonably priced. The beach in front of the resort is beautiful. The free bicycles, kayaks, and snorkel gear were good quality. The location on the island was ideal. We rode around to some other beaches and were glad we chose Tamanu Beach.

Welcome staff was lovely with ayes and drinks. Rooms were lovely. Outside shower and room shower were great! restaurant staff were so friendly and accommodating. Beds are comfy. Buffet breakfast excellent. Restaurant food great! Handy with scooters onsite to hire and cycles free to use. Beautiful resort.
