We had a great stay at Shamba Lodge. The cabin is just wonderful. The bed is big and comfy, the bathroom is clean and there is hot water. We had dinner there and it was delicious. Breakfast was great, too. Staff was really kind.

The views are nothing short of breathtaking. The staff were very hospitable and friendly, service was top notch and the food was great.

The location is beautiful and the staff are very helpful. Our flight got changed very last minute, but the staff stayed awake passed 11, to ensured that we have a taxi coming at the correct time. Which ended up being 3 in the morning. We also had some noise from a terrible storm which kept us up, but immediately when they heard of this they went to trim the trees, to ensure a good nights rest.

My husband and I had the privilege of staying here while we were on a road trip across the magnificent land of Tanzania. We were so smitten by the charm of Shamba Lodge, that we decided to return for our last night in Tanzania, turning our last hurrah into a memorable one. From the moment we arrived, we were astounded by the breathtaking views of Mount Meru, Tanzania's second highest peak, lush green hills that unfolded around us, as far as the eye could see and we were greeted with the warmest hospitality. The staff at Shamba Lodge has nailed the delicate balance between professionalism and friendliness. They showed genuine care for our comfort and needs, constantly going above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. The lodge itself is tucked away in Arusha's stunning landscape, surrounded by nature's bounty. It's an excellent retreat for travelers seeking tranquility and solace amidst their hectic daily schedules. The rooms were elegantly designed, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.
