The host that welcomed us, cooked and looked after you during the stay was so nice and helpful. The room was simple but nice. Had a coffee station and the garden was very pretty

One of the best places I stayed in Arusha and I have been there many times. very quiet and peaceful place. The staff is super nice and the rooms are clean, cozy and super nice as well as the beds to have the best rest after or before safari. The location is great as it is close to the main road, close to Arusha but not in the middle of the town. you can hear nothing at night. Just silence.

Everything was great. The room was spacious and very clean. They prepared a delicious breakfast at 6am before leaving for our safari.

The staff, food and rooms. Staff: super friendly and helpful, especially the concierge/cooker Lina. She was always available to help us with what we needed. She even helped us with Safari tours and laundry services. The breakfast: one of the highlights of Mambo! It's very well served and cooked with passion. The rooms: so quiet and peaceful! You wake up with the birds sing.

“Hideaway”

Mambo Hideaway is a tucked away in a small dirtroad and not so easy to find. We liked the place very much. It was quiet, clean and Lina was very helpfull. We didn't go out for dinner, because of Linas good cooking :)

We booked at this accommodation 3 times because we simply enjoyed this spot so much! Beautiful location just outside of Arusha with a nice garden to relax and have a few drinks. The rooms are amazing and really live up to the expectation, more then you would expect for this price. The staff was also very amazing, always being able to provide the best food and all kinds of services without any problems.

“Recommended place when staying in Arusha!”

Really nice, calm and clean room. Breakfast was amazing. They make whatever you like. Seems a bit outside center, but you can take the “badjadji”(tuk tuk) or taxi and you’re there in a minute. It is also ideally located if you want to visit a coffeefarm or one of the waterfalls. You can go for an organised trip or hike yourself like we did. Tip: negotiate the price for the taxi to citycenter and airport.

Homely feel and decor, friendly staff, breakfast was simple but good, not far off the main road.

The host was very nice and the space was clean and the bed very comfortable. We opted for dinner since it's pretty out of the way and it was our last night before heading to JRO to go home.

Mambo hideaway is a gem in Arusha. A very cozy, clean and calm place with everything you might need. Lina is taking care of the guests, cooks amazing lunch and dinner and is a very helpful and lovely person! Thank you for the nice stay!
