Hotel facilities were good. We had a connecting room for a family of 4 and room location was a walking distance from the hotel reception counter. Arrived quite late and an early morning checked out.

“Airport Hotel in the Bush”

This is not your normal concrete tilt slab airport hotel with sterile square rooms, these are small banda type houses located in a lush bush setting 5 minutes drive from the airport. Great pool. View onto Kilimanjaro. Comfortable bar with good selection of beers and bar snacks. Best airport hotel I have ever stayed in. If you see the chain hotels as boring then this is a delight! .

I stayed in KIA lodge the evening before my flight back to the UK after a month in Tanzania. KIA lodge was the perfect place to relax and reflect on my travels. I had read some reviews which complained about cleanliness / shower temperature, but I certainly didn't notice any issues with cleanliness or the showers. I found both my room and the grounds to be well-kept and clean. The staff were so helpful! There were so many options for breakfast and it was delicious. Prices for food was reasonable.

It's location which is close to the airport. You get a much needed night's rest after a very long flight to Kilimanjaro. The scenery is breathtaking and the food was very good

Location on the airport premises is perfect for early morning flights or late arrivals. The bar, lounge and swimming pool is located in beautiful garden. Staff is attentive and friendly.

Great location, only a few minutes from the airport. Lovely grounds with a great view of Kilimanjaro. Dinner was a la Carte and good value. Room was comfortable.

“Nice property and breakfast”

Liked the rooms the bedding and facilities. My issue is with the booking I initially booked for 2 nights and the booking went through But then kia lodge contacted me to say that availability for one night was not available so I queried why then did the booking go through. They said they would refund for one night but they only ended up refunding a part of the reservation rate charged. I questioned again but no response was given. Sonfor no fault of mine they charged me a substantial fee!
