“Lovely family, but rough stay”

Theresa and her family have been kind with us. Her daughters are super sweet and they prepared and served us dinner all together. Dinner was simple, yet really good: a veg soup, rice with beans and vegetables and finally fruit.. exactly what we were hoping for! We paid 16 US dollars for dinner for 2 people, in total.

Everything! Charming is the correct description for this Eco Homestay. Everything is clean, meals are delicious, excellent staff, camping area is a huge well groomed lawn with high fence, locked gate and security on site. Well named. It was so “charming”. A beautiful garden oasis. Rooms were simple, creatively put together, clean and comfortable. Theresa and her family were lovely to deal with, always very accommodating. We were only there for 1 night but the dinner we ate there was the best meal we had throughout our 2 week stay in Kenya and Tanzania!

Good choice after flight. The owner was really helpful and he picked us up during night from the airport and dropped us 6am to the bus station in the morning. Good breakfast!

Beautiful gardens and outdoor area in a space well away from the main streets, rooms were spacious and built with an authentic villa feel to them, but best of all was the staff who were lovely and thoughtful and made the most delicious food

Our stay at the ecolodge was simply excellent. We (three adults) only arrived late at night and had to depart early the next morning, but the experience still left a lasting impression. The house is spacious and cozy, the beds were comfortable, and we had all the necessities we needed. What really made the stay a wonderful experience thought, was the staff's sincere warmth and hospitality that went above and beyond. We had an airport pickup arranged with the lodge staff and a dinner catered upon arrival, all according to our preferred dietary requirements and restrictions, and we are still talking about how delicious the cucumber soup and the veggie stew and homemade bread rolls were! And in the morning we were greeted with a hearty breakfast that was perfect for fuelling us for our three-day hike up Mount Meru. Finally, when we were getting ready to depart on our adventure and had a miscommunication with our guide, the staff stepped in and solved the issue for us, saving us from a tricky logistics situation. We're so grateful for all the help and kindness that was shown to us, asante sana!

Everything was very nice . We have wonderful memories of our stay and the hosts. Teresa was especially kind and caring, always attentive when it came to preparing meals. She even brought food to our room because we had a small baby, which was incredibly thoughtful. When it was time for us to check out and move to another place, Nelson kindly offered to help us with the transfer. We truly appreciated their hospitality and warm hearts.

Beautiful accommadation in a nice environment and not far from the main street. The room is clean and we had hot water all the time. The bed was comfortable. There was enough space in the room. The staff is very kind and reachable if you have questions or wishes. We could have breakfast even after the normal breakfast times, so we could sleep longer.

Teresa was such a nice person. She took so well care of us! We had a tasty dinner and a good breakfast before we left. 35 minutes from the airport in direction Arusha.

“Perfect”

We had a beautiful stay here before and after our safari. The staff are wonderful, welcoming and go above and beyond. The dinner and breakfast was awesome. The location is perfect if you are coming from or going to Mount Kilimanjaro airport. We arrived late at night and had an early morning flight departure and so glad we stayed here to avoid the traffic in Arusha centre and didn’t have to commute as far. Highly recommend
