If you want a little retreat from the hustle of Arusha, stay at this wonderful place! The garden, the restaurant, but especially the wonderful people you will meet there are worth it! We came back for a cooking class and would always come back again.

“Wonderful people and stories. Must do coffee and village tour!”
Wonderful people and 2 cute dogs!!! The coffee and village tour was included and we paid an extra 10,000 shillings per person to do a waterfall tour. Joel, Prosper, and all the others were very welcoming and they told us a lot about different fruits, medicinal plants, and the Maasai tribe. There’s also a restaurant in the lodge, where we had the best pilau since we’ve arrived in Tanzania. At night, Joel lit a warm and cozy bonfire.

“Wonderful city getaway with the friendliest hosts ❤️”
The hosts are incredible honest and friendly - and they have a very good intuition for what their guests are looking for. If you want a green oasis with a lovely and chilled vibe, helpful family and fresh local coffee every day from the property’s own plantation - then this is your place away from the city noise. A very beautiful waterfall is also a 40 min walk away.

A lovely stay with a lovely family. The place is well located out of town yet very accessible through public transport. The surroundings are beautiful. The freshly cut bananas and avocado are amazing along with all the food that was cooked. Although the room had no fan nor AC, it was in fact not needed as the temperature was fairly cool. The prices for everything are reasonable and the staff is very helpful.

“Incredible stay, so happy I found it!”
What to say about this hotel - such a great find, I am delighted! It was a perfect stay with the cherry on the top being the coffee tour they offer to guests. It's in a beautiful location, cute little dogs on site and I love all of their eco friendly initiatives. Price is perfect, location is out of the way but fine if you don't need to be central and the food is nice too.

A truly special place! Surrounded by nature and filled with warm, welcoming people, we felt at home the moment we arrived. There’s so much to enjoy here—from delicious food and a coffee tour to nearby waterfalls and more. The team goes above and beyond to help organize everything you need, whether it’s a safari, a trip to Chemka, or transportation. Highly recommended for an unforgettable experience!

“Hidden gem / green oasis / fab farm”
I stumbled upon this guesthouse by accident online and wish I had discovered it sooner for my stay in Arusha, I only got to spend one night here and wish I could have stayed longer. After a warm welcome by the staff and the cute dog we relaxed in the garden, played pool and had a great rest in the room, which was so nicely decorated and comfortable! We woke up to unlimited fresh coffee farm (it’s situated on a coffee farm!), a breakfast that was both local and continental and tasty. Lots of eye for detail and love for what they are doing: hosting and connecting to people. We cuddled one of the farm bunnies and chatted to the staff, it was all lovely, so we’ll definitely come back!

This hostel is located in a village in east of Arusha town. To reach it, you'd get off from the mainroad and get on a narrow unpaved bumpy village road about 1km. So make sure you have a good car with you. The hostel has a nicely decorated little courtyard and two or three buildings of guestroom. The room itself is small and very basic, you can only sit out of door because no chairs in the room. The window structure is poor, gap allowing in mosquitose and other insents. The curtains and glass door didn't block light at all. From early morning you are to be awaken by the sun or sound of village activities. But that is expected by its low budget. The best thing I had experienced there was the fantastic 'coffee tour' which showed you exactly how local people make coffee from raw beans to the cup. (if you visit during harvest season you will see the coffee fruit pick-up too) They would also show you the banana farm in the village. If you are interested to get a glimpse of local village life you can try this hostel, otherwise not very necessary to stay deep in a village. The food cooked by its kitchen is yummy, and the staffs are friendly. They can arrange Arusha airport shuttle which charged 25 dollars.
