Nice place! Easy to meet people & amazing staff ;) There is a little bar in front and the garden is amazing to hangout and chill. Yoga area on the rooftop and clean bathrooms and bedrooms! :) Would stay again! :)

The property is great! There are communal showers which come in handy when coming back from the beach and you're covered in sand haha. There is a lovely area in front of the building where you can chill and meet new people. It was everything we needed :)

Location is bang in the middle of everything fun to do in Arugam Bay. The host (Hetti) and the staff were always willing to help out with a smile on their faces. The room (Double room) was clean and cosy. Price was on point. The restaurant outside served some brilliant food too.

Chill vibes, there was yoga on site & live music in the evenings, the staff were amazing & there were puppies too 🥺 Dorms were really nice & only 4 people per room.

Loved the vibe and the friendliess of the staff and the way it’s set out encourages people to mix and make friends. They had the most gorgeous 8 little puppies! Manager was a delight, organised us a great tuk tuk safari with a lovely local guy -wonderful and they didn’t take a fee off the top, just arranged it for us. Live music on site on the friday night. Such a lovely experience all in all- would also make a fab place for solo travellers.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Waypoint, and I can't express enough how wonderful my experience was. Close to the beach and everything else you could need during your stay in Arugam Bay. There is a bar in the garden where there are events throughout the week and yoga on the rooftop!

I really enjoyed my stay in Waypoint Hostel! The atmosphere is nice and the staff is really friendly. It‘s the best place to stay in Arugam Bay!

Everything was super nice and chill. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. If there is a problem it’s gonna be fixed in a min. :) Felt like a big family in there. Spent def. the best time of my trip at waypoint (tried out several hostels before). It’s a great place to stay close to the AB shenanigans but still have your quite little oasis in the back to relax and hang out with yoga at the rooftop. Was very sad to leave this little oasis. Highly recommend! :D

Loved the vibe and the staff incl Hetti! They’re all very friendly and helpful. Amazing location as it is on the strip and close to all other spots. They have a super bar at the location as well with events on different nights so you don’t even need to go out if you don’t want to.
