This is a good hotel! The bed was hard, but we were comfortable enough and had everything we needed.

Bed was comfy. Decent breakfast. The guy in the pool bar/breakfast area was very attentive. A short walk to the beach. Enjoyed the BBQ fish at the Wave restaurant with a 10% discount. Air con and fan in the room.

Greeted with a cool cloth and a drink as we arrived. Kind and attentive staff. Kumar was very informative and welcoming. The accommodation is beautiful, huge and really clean. Private pool is excellent too. Had a lovely dinner too after the safari. Would stay here again.

“Great family friendly beachside hotel”

Blue Wave 10/10 Our expectations of Arugam Bay were pretty flat. As we took the turn off of the main road up to the hotel, we gave each other a nervous glance as the area between the main road and the hotel is pretty rundown, however as the driver turned into the hotel reception area, ww felt immediately at ease. The hotel is large with a decent size swimming pool and restaurant area (although the restaurant area was mainly used for breakfast only). The room was clean, spacious and functional with everything you need. There are viewing balconies at L2 as well as a rooftop terrace area where you can watch the sunrise. but what really made this hotel such a special experience was the staff. Chamara and the team really went the extra to make sure that everything was done perfectly. Whenever we had a question or a request the team were there to assist (Chamara very knowledgeable about Sri Lankan history and great for travel Tips). The location is also superb. You are literally a 1min walk away from the main strip and a 2min walk from the beach. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay at the hotel longer as we had to move on due to full occupancy. Overall, highly recommended.

This hotel located close to the beach. Beach is few minutes away on foot. Rooms were clean, spacious and had all amenities needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had string hoppers for breakfast and it was delicious. Parking avaliable in front of the hotel. Overall stay was good and can be recommended.

Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially at the front desk. They helped arrange tuk-tuks, gave great local tips, and always greeted with a smile. The location is also ideal—just a short walk to the beach and close to great restaurants and surf spots. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Arugambay. Great value for money. Would 100% stay again!
