“Absolutely Wonderful”

Our stay at The Bavarian Resort was amazing!! The location was great, super central but not too noisy. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had everything you could need including a kettle and tea. On top of all that the Man who runs The Bavarian Resort is the kindest and sweetest man you’ll ever meet! He was so cheerful and lovely. I would definitely stay here and again and recommend it to everyone :)

We were welcomed by a lovely man who owned the accommodation. He was very welcoming and helped us with all our luggage! Our stay was really pleasant - everything was clean, showers worked great and the A/C was brilliant! Great location as it’s less noisy but still in the heart of Arugam Bay. Highly recommend this place!

We absolutely loved our stay! The location is perfect – peaceful and quiet, yet just steps from the center of Arugam Bay. The rooms are simple, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you need. What truly made our stay special was the host. Faisal is incredibly kind, caring, and always ready to help. We actually extended our stay twice because we felt so welcome and at home. Even after we had left, he went out of his way to help us with a visa issue – a level of kindness that’s truly rare. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with a wonderful host. 💚

Good location ,Quiet road but still close to the Main Street , the owner was very helpful and friendly , always giving tips and recommendations , he also find me a place where to take the tuk tuk for service . The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The host was super nice. He arranged all activites for us + the return night bus to Colombo. Ask for the safari because his prices are very competitive! We really felt welcome and at home.

The hotel is situated on a side road so you do not hear the constant noise of cars and restaurants on the main street. Still, it is very close to everything ( a couple of minutes walk to the beach and main street). Our host gave us a lot of recommendations of where to eat and rent surfs, which all turned out to be great. He also took care of our laundry and was very helpful and a delightful person. Definitely very good value for money in Arugam Bay, I would stay here again.

Perfect location and room with everything you could need (air con/ fan, kettle, drying rack, place to hang clothes). Nice outdoor space with seating area. Great team of staff and very helpful owner who made our stay extra special.

Owner is incredible, super friendly, and super helpfull. I had an issue with the aircon and he did everything in his power to fix it as soon as possible. Really enjoyed the stay. Location is great, walking distance from the main street.

Amazing stay! The room is very comfortable and clean. Outdoor aerea is very nice with an outside shower, the place is not far from the Main Point surf spot ( 10-15 min walking ). Best of all is the host. Fayzal has been very kind with us, always trying to help us and giving us an extra hand for whatever we needed. Thanks for everything See you soon :)

“Beautiful and cozy room in Arugam Bay”

Our room had everything you need for a good stay, bed is comfortable, Ac plus fan in the room, private toilet. The owner and his cousin are always ready to help, we stayed there for 17 days and we felt home from the first one. It’s located 2 minutes walks from the main road of Arugam Bay so you have everything you need just few stapes away but at the same time the place is quite. Just 10 minutes walk to main point

This property is in an ideal location and the owner and staff are so friendly and welcoming, if you need anything at all they are more than happy to help and go the extra mile for you. The room was clean and the aircon and hot water were both perfect, we had no problems.
