“Friendly staff and good location”

Nice and helpful staff, spacious rooms, simple but good money for value. Located in the outer part of Arugam. More quiet area and walking distance to restaurants and all the buzzing places. Booked one night end extended for one more.

Central location with all the amenities within walking distance. Exceptionally friendly staff and nothing was any trouble to sort out. Great choice of breakfast which was cooked fresh to order. Our room was a good size with a large bathroom. We had use of the communal balcony area where we spent every evening watching the world go by. Razlan and Thoufeek were always on hand to sort out any issues.

“Good friendly option for a stay in A-Bay”

Friendly and welcoming staff. Sri Lankan breakfast on the roof terrace was delicious and the fresh juices were amazing! Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Everything in A-Bay was walkable from the hotel.

“Lovely stay”

A very nice place to stay in Arugam bay! The room is spacious, clean with good A/C and comfortable bed. Our room was on the ground floor, with a nice seating space outside. The breakfast was great too and the host helped us organise a safari to Kumana national park, which was amazing.

“Great place in Arugam Bay”

We stayed here for four nights. The owners and staff exceeded our expectations and we were amazed at all the kindness and excellent service they provided. They organized a Private Safari for us to Kumana National Park and we saw a leopard really close, which requires good luck! Breakfast was excellent and we liked it a lot. All the other food we ate there was also very tasty and good. The room was spacious and clean and quiet and everything we need was there. The king-size bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. Highly recommend this place! Amora hotel - absolutely the best value for money 🫶🏽

“I'll come back here. Wonderful”

We stayed there for two weeks. First, the owner and his team, we have never encountered such wonderful service before. Everything we asked for and every difficulty we encountered was answered attentively and quickly with a smile. The rooms and the place are very clean and the staff keeps it clean all the time. We were in a room with A/C that worked perfectly. The outdoor seating area is very nice and inviting. The breakfast we received was rich and unusual. everyday it changes. We extended our stays there.

Location was nice, right on the main road. Very close to the beach as well. Staff was very friendly and supportive.

“Clean, quiet, welcoming and perfect location.”

This was the cleanest and most comfortable place we stayed on our trip to Sri Lanka. The rooms are large and the air con works well. It was in a great location on the main road a couple of minutes walk to the restaurants but away from the really busy part of town so it was nice and quiet at night but still very convenient to everything you need. The guys that run it are super welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate us for an extra night at late notice. When we come back to Arugam we will be staying here.

I had a great stay at Amora Hotel. The location is convenient, with easy access to local attractions. My room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. Good Wifi. The on-site restaurant and breakfast buffet were top-notch. Overall, the hotel offers good value for money, and I’d definitely stay here again.

“Best place & happy stay”

Rooms are very clean and big, the king sized bed was made my stay more comfort. The tasty sri lankan breakfast was delicious , delivered with the beautiful view on the resort. The room is also quiet and has the hot water shower facilities. the beach is near on walking distance. I'm eagerly waiting for my next visit to the amora. It is worth for money. I highly recommend this place.

I had an exceptional stay at The Amora Hotel in Arugam Bay. The Rooms were clean, spacious, and equipped with comfortable king-sized beds, efficient air conditioning and reliable hot water facilities. The Wi-Fi speed was excellent, and the friendly staff were always ready to assist. The breakfast was amazing, and the hotel's convenient location near the beach added to the overall enjoyment. Considering the quality of the amenities and service, it was definitely worth the money. highly recommended!

Very nice hotel, with spacious and clean rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Best place to stay in Arugam bay ! We searched for another hotel, because one day it was full here, but couldn’t find anything as good as The Amora for the price. They change the menu of breakfast everyday and it was all tasty😋

Got a welcome juice when we arrived. Walkable distance to the beach and restaurants. Breakfast was tasty and different each day. Very friendly staff

Great location right beside the beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Ended up booking an extra night. Definitely recommend this place if you want somewhere close to the beach.
