We stayed here for two nights and were very happy with the place. It was located right beside the beach and across the road there was a lagoon where we often saw an elephant playing in the water. The manager and workers were all extremely helpful and kind. The shared kitchen had everything you needed. The room was clean and the ac and wifi worked very well.

“Best food with comfortable accommodation stay”

We stayed at sunset view beach hotel and dined at the moon garden restaurant for all four days of our beautiful trip to the area. Anas and his team were so obliging in every way and helped us out on so many occasions. Anas was always just a quick WhatsApp away and helped us out with directions, renting a scooter and helpful tips about the area. Our room at the hotel was so comfortable and clean. We had our own personal patio & laundry area and extra room which we used for working from (which we were not expecting) The restaurant was outstanding! The best kotthu I have had so far in Sri Lanka! And excellent friendly staff and service all round. I cannot recommend the place enough. Good people & good vibes. Great & friendly service. Lovely spacious room with big comfortable bed. Nice location, close to everything in ABay but also in a quiet spot with a good view of the sunset. Kind, helpful and friendly staff, Dean will go out of his way to do anything and everything for you during your stay.

We had an incredible experience during our stay! Our room was very clean, with fresh bedsheets, and boasted a breathtaking view of both the beach and the lagoon. To our delight, we even had the pleasure of witnessing an elephant strolling through the lagoon right outside our bedroom window for a few days. The location is ideal, situated at the beginning of the bustling main street, ensuring that there's no shortage of options the moment you step out. We were extremely pleased with the hospitality and wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

amazing property super close to the beach!! the staff were so nice and helpful, giving us water and arranging surfing lessons. the room was huge and clean. we slept well on the beds.

Very beautiful and spacious room! Huge and comfortable bed. It's very quiet so we slept well and woke up to a beautiful view. It's a little bit outside the main centre but still walkable distance to everywhere. Also the staff was very friendly, they rented us a scooter and did laundry.

Dean is very helpful and friendly. The place is quiet and you have a 20min walk through the beach until you reach out the main surf spot. If you are looking for a quiet, away from beach parties and comfy place but still close to restaurants and beach this is your place. They also provide laundry service which is very helpful:-)

“Relaxed stay in Arugam Bay”

The location of the hotel is near the beach and I’m a quieter area of Arugam Bay. So if you want to relax and stay away from the busy partying in Arugam Bay, this is your spot (and if you want to party, it’s just a short walk of max 15 minutes away). There are multiple restaurants nearby with western and Sri Lankan food for multiple price ranges. Moreover, the bed was comfy with a mosquito net, the airconditioning in our room did work properly and our room was clean. The manager, Dean, is super friendly and helped us arranging surfing lessons and a taxi for a good price. He is very hospitable and speaks good English. The other staff members were friendly too. Would recommend staying here!

Staff and manager particularly was so friendly. The manager could not do enough for you. Welcome drink and little Sri Lankan snack before we checked out. He was so helpful and accommodating. Very clean and spacious rooms. Amazing bed, clean bathroom and most importantly, good working AC. Service from Deen was very good as he made us feel very welcome, arranged a cheap and good scooter from the hotel when we wanted and was very flexible in changing rooms so we could stay more days than planned. I definitely recommend this hotel and the staff!

Quiet and secure place at the begining of the beach. Very comfy premises, kitchen, frige and laundry are available onsite. Dean, the manager, and the stuff are extremely helpful! Great surf lessons can also be arranged via Dean! The surf instructor was the best ever!!! Thanks much, men!!!!

The staff were very friendly and helpful (thanks Dean), and they provided great services such as moped rental, laundry, food and organising surf lessons. The bedroom was clean and modern with a big comfortable bed and air con!
