I loved the people that ran the property, they made my stay feel like home and made sure that I was as comfortable as possible with them. Such friendly staff and really good facilities, the breakfast was a lovely touch to the place and the cooking dinner made us get to know them !

Really cool accommodation on the edge of Arugam bay town centre. It is close enough to the main strip that it feels easy to pop in and out, but far enough to be nice and peaceful. The staff were very relaxed, friendly and gave a cool vibe to the place. This made it very pleasant to spend time there. There is a central communal dining area with a fridge and in general the atmosphere is quite sociable amongst guests (which I find rarer to find among accommodation with private rooms rather than dorms). The cabanas are set in an artfully designed luscious garden. I loved getting up every morning and hanging out on the hammock on our little porch and getting a delicious breakfast delivered. I would 100% stay here again if I came back and I would recommend for any couple seeking a sociable experience in A bay.

We felt at home from the very first day. We originally booked four nights but ended up staying for more than two weeks. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming. Whenever we had a problem or needed a recommendation, he was there to assist us and always gave good advice or contact. The little cottage in the garden is a true paradise – peaceful, cozy, and surrounded by nature. We fully enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again.

Location was quiet but close to the beach and other places, the owner was wonderful and helpful and gardens beautiful. We did like Arugam bay but our time there was slightly off season so next time I would like to see it when everything is open

We really enjoyed our stay here. Property has a nice feel, nice large shared area. The location is great close to main beach. Owners super friendly and breakfast was delicious.

Staying at Thari‘s place was simply amazing. Sri Lankan breakfast was the perfect way to start every day. the Cabanas are very well maintained, clean and everything is working perfectly. We will come back for sure! Thank you for hosting us

From the moment we arrived we loved it. Nothing was too much trouble the room was clean and well furnished with nice outside area and hammock. Lovely Sri Lanka breakfast or eggs if you prefer. Access to kitchen meant you could make your own drinks. Located 5 minutes from the beach couldn’t be beaten

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Starfish Cabbana in Arugam Bay, Sri Lanka. We would give it a solid 10 out of 10! The host was incredibly kind and helpful, and the accommodation was spotless and well-equipped. The area in front of the cabanas was filled with beautiful plants, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious, and the location was just a short walk from the beach. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Perfect place! Just a short walk from the beach and shopping street but in a more quiet neighbourhood. Breakfast was really nice, owners very kind! They were flexible and helped us when we had to leave a bit earlier than expected. Getting our Laundry done was possible too which we really liked. Rooms are simple but do offer enough space and AC worked really well which was awesome in the heat. And last but not least it is such a nice atmosphere! With your own small veranda with a hammock and plants all around. And let’s not forget the cute cats hanging around. Before I booked I was doubting if it would be too simple for a week’s stay but I would book it again in a heartbeat. Very amazing price/quality.

The owner is the highlight of the stay. He is a celebrity chef, the breakfast he serves is top-notch. He goes out of the way to help you. He even decorated the room for my birthday. His suggestion for dinner and bakery were all good. The property is walking distance from the ever bustling beach. Full of greenery.

The room is big enough and in a cute little cabana with terrace and the place has a beautiful garden it is also very well located to Arugam Bay main road and to Baby Point (beach) The room has been cleaned once during our trip, which was not the case on other hotels There is a laundry available which is good The staff is nice!
