“The perfectly calm stay close to the beach in Arugam Bay.”

Green oasis with lots of love for the small details. It is close to the lagoon and we had the rare chance to spot a tusker just on the opposite side of the street!! The hosts are super friendly and gave us some great recommendations. Especially the surfing classes based on her recommendation have been excellent.

Little Lagoon is in an amazing location. On the lagoon edge and on the Main Street of Arugam Bay. The accommodation is wonderful! We stayed in one of the double room containers and it was perfect, such a fun concept. It’s within a really well kept garden area and the hosts are so friendly!

“A Beautiful Atmosphere”

It’s a beautiful property and scenery. Little Lagoon is definitely one of our favorite accommodations in SL. We stayed in one of the bungalows. Everything’s very clean and the bed is comfy. Even tough we stayed here during Off-Season, we had a wonderful time. You can reach everything per foot, but you can also take one of the bicycles for free. Liyen and her family are super nice hosts and extremely helpful with everything. I can imagine that Little Lagoon is very popular during high season. So definitely book and stay here. I think it’s a very special and calm atmosphere, that can be enjoyed wether you’re surfing or not.

Greatest place we have been to in Sri Lanka. Very nice hosts and personal, clean and comfy bungalow with everything one needs, very comfortable bed, refill of filtered water, bikes available to take without additional cost, awesome tips and information from the hosts. Located right at the start of Arugam Bay, so quick and easy to cycle to Pottuvil for cheaper local food and it is not so crowded as in the middle of Arugam Bay. Overall just perfect. We have been here in off-season and enjoyed it to the fullest

Very nice hosts and beautiful property with a shared kitchen and water tanks for a free refill. The containers are very well equipped and designed beautifully. Very nice garden area as well. The beach is just around the corner.

“Perfect place to stay”

Little Lagoon is a wonderful place to stay. We had a private room there - really comfortable bed, perfect size for two and lovely outdoor seating area. The owners are so wonderfully friendly and helpful - they made us feel right at home. They gave us loads of great suggestions on things to do and places to eat. They even put up a birthday sign outside our room when they found out it was my partners birthday! Couldn’t recommend staying here more :)

The room is very clean with a patio outside where you can chill. We got to use their bikes to go around the bay which was really nice. Staff is also very polite, informative and sweet.

“Clean and cozy surfcamp vibe”

Super friendly host family and very nice atmosphere, free bikes are amazing, we loved the two doggos and the container we stayed in was so nice and clean. The rooms were well thought through, you notice that the owners traveled around too and know what's needed. Since there's also a dorm, it attracts backpackers and open minded people, that are easy to talk to. There's also free water refill, to save the plastic waste! If you surf, you walk 15 minutes to the closest Surfspot and 5-10 minutes to the center, so other locations might be more convenient, we decided to rent a scooter for that reason or took a tuktuk which is absolutely no problem too. We extended our stay because we were super happy with the place and the waves, we would stay there again!

We booked two rooms, one with A/C and one with a fan. As expected, the room was very warm at night with the fan, next time I would not do without the air conditioning. The accommodation is very lovingly decorated and furnished. The location on the edge of Arugam Bay is very relaxed, but close enough to reach everything important in a short walk if needed.

Lovely layout that felt homely and relaxed . All facilities were really clean and the communal kitchen was a really good addition ! Lien and Mo were so helpful , friendly and hospitable .

“Comfortable stay in remote hotspot.”

We stayed in one of the containers. It was comfortable, roomy, and the air conditioning worked great. There was no mosquito net, but that did not matter, as the door seals tight. The owners are kind and knowledgeable and will give you great tips about Sri Lanka! We wish we had started our tour of Sri Lanka here,to have all the info! Breakfast is great! Don’t miss out on the amazing banana jam!
