Very nice clean room with AC, no problems with check in even evening time on short notice. Super friendly and helpful host, invited me to the dinner, booked night sleeper bus to Kolombo for me, always helpful with good advice and carrying. Location is very good too. I had a very pleasant stay.

Owner contacted us one day before our arrival and asked us to cancel the booking because he overbooked his place. We to asked him to cancel the booking on his end so we don't have to pay cancelation fees, haven't heard from him since.

First we booked only one night but extended our stay for two more nights, because we really enjoyed it here. The hosts are very caring and always asked if we are in need of something. The breakfast was really good aswell. He arranged a surfing lesson for us and we could use the laundry service. The location is very central but still not too loud.

It is really comfortable, super clean, super well equiped, Less than 5 min from the beach . Breakfast were so big and so good. Owner really kind and helpful, I highly recommend.

Really nice hotel set back from the main road, so it is a bit quieter than other hotels (perfect for a good nights’ sleep!) The owner was very friendly. We didn’t get to try the breakfast as we left early in the morning.

“The best place to stay if you're visiting Arugam Bay!”
The best place to stay if you're visiting Arugam Bay! We had such a great time thanks to the service provided by Green Ocean Bay. We had an early morning check-in at around 3 am and the owner waited up for us to greet us. The rooms were clean and comfortable, AC worked greated, bed was comfortable and they do have hot water (which is not necessarily needed since A'bay is quite warm) location is right in the middle of everything, and is easily accessible to the cutest restaurants around. They even organized a tuk tuk for us to go on a safari and also all the way to elephant rock all for a very reasonable price. The owner and staff were very accommodating and friendly and we can't wait to come back to the same place! Highly recommended!

The female manager and the rest of the staff were really hard at work to make us happy, they were really nice and attentive, I hope the boss knows what a great job all of them are doing! The room was big and clean, and location was also good.

Nice big clean room, comfy bed, good shower and cold AC 👍 Breakfast was avocado and egg on toast with fruit platter, coffee and some Sri Lankan options. Management and staff are all very friendly and helpful. Great value for money and would definitely recommend. Would stay here again if we returned. P.s there's a cute kitten
