“Friendly and helpful staff and close to the beach and loads restaurants. Would recommend!”

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They booked us onto a safari tour which was really useful, just make sure you double check the price and how many people are coming with you in your vehicle as this changed last minute for us, but the staff did adjust the price accordingly. It was a little further away from the main surfing spot but still only a 2 minute walk from the beach, perfect for a quick dip and near plenty of restaurants. Would recommend!

Mushi and Mufa do everything to make their guests happy. The rooms are locatet in 2nd row to the beach. Quiet place. Now parties close. I wanted to stay 4 nights an at least it were 8. They also have a kitchen you can use. If you Wmwant to do a crocodile or lagoon safari, need a driver or rent a bike, the both Guys arrange everything for you for a fair price. I took surfing lessons, which Sufi. They also arranged it for me. The bathrooms are basic, but they know. And as soon as they saved some money, they will upgrade them. I was very happy to find this place.

If you are looking for a super basic accomodation, if you need something more this is really really basic.

Good Place to stay in you want to have privacy. The owner is a very very good person and is doing everything for his customers.

“Just amazing”

Great staff - they knew about every attraction, every thing to do in the area and the timetable of every bus and they were just very nice. Very cozy hostel, close to the beach and to the Main Street. And perfectly working wifi.

We absolutely loved staying here, we even came back for our last night in Arugam Bay. This hotel is perfect if you’re looking to have good night sleeps, as it is towards the end of the main strip and less busy but still walking distance to shops and restaurants. The rooms are clean and bed is super comfy - I would recommend getting AC as it gets very hot in high season and its always nice to be able to rest in the room during the day. Musi and Mufa were very welcoming hosts and always keen to help or have a chat. They arranged tuktuks, scooter for us and our last minute room booking. They even offered us coffee and juices in the morning. We really appreciate all you did for us, guys! All in all, best place to stay in AB.

“A stay that will never end”

You know those experiences of insane kindness and welcomeness when you’re travelling that remind you why you travel- staying here is one of them! are absolute legends; so kind and helpful and just go above and beyond on multiple occasions. Logistically it’s also a great place; an easy walk to town and the beach but also very quiet so you can retreat from the hustle and bustle whenever you please. They have great wifi, drinking water, the rooms stay cool with or without aircon thanks to the all the beautiful trees and plant, bikes for hire, a kitchen to use, the owners have perfect English and probably a million other great things that I’ve forgotten. The rooms are humble and simple but everything you could need and a really good price in comparison to all the other accom in A bay. I was meant to stay 2 nights but have been here for a lot longer and will probably be here when you arrive. 20/10 recommend.

It was clean, staff were nice and was a very relaxing atmosphere.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The beach is only 50 meters away. Private rooms for a really good price.

“felt like home”

Great quiet location, very close to the beach, in my opinion the better part of town to stay. I rented a bicycle also and makes exploring and getting around very nice. I was happy to discover my room had a proper mattress, something you don’t find everywhere especially for the budget. The brothers managing the place are very welcoming and are happy to share their knowledge and arrange anything of interest, jungle safari, tuk tuk for surfing etc.

Amazing stuff. The location is in the center but still quiet. I surely recommend!

The owner is very laid-back and knows what a good service means. Less then one minute by walking to restaurants and the beach. Definitly recommended if you visit Arugam Bay!,

Excellent place, ticks all the boxes, really comfortable stay, great staff, just half a minute from the lovely beach take a dip when you feel like it. Also had use of the kitchen and washing machine, and a real coffee maker.. Top marks
