“Hidden gem worth visiting.”

Artun Guesthouse was a hidden gem on our trip. Well maintained cottage, with Weber barbecue on terrace, great view, small lake and kayak free of charge. Owners were very nice and friendly. Price performance was the best we got on our 17 days long trip in Iceland.

Cottage was nice, had everything you need. There is also a boat on a small lake and a little mini golf. Nice views, nice people.

The house is really good and well equipped. The view from the terrace is fantastic. It is in a really calm and quiet place. Absolutely would return!

Perfect for an overnight stay. Peaceful surroundings. Simple cabin that was clean and had everything we needed. I highly recommend to stay here.

Lovely 'cottage'. It is actually a wooden hut type building / lodge. Exceptionally warm and cosy. Lovely little kitchen area with hob and microwave. Able to park outside. Very quiet and peaceful location. I enjoyed having no TV!

The house was the best house we stayed in in iceland, it was cozy and perfect for the group of people we were, the landscape around the property was incredible and we saw an amazing sunrise. The hoster was nice to us the moment we requested her help (when we couldnt find the property she came for us to help as much as she could). The common area and its comfyness is one of the best memories i have from the trip.

Clean rooms, good for families with kids. Convenient check in and check out. Outdoor BBQ facilities.

“Exceptional stay while exploring north”

This was the best stay during our trip! An entire small house with two bedrooms and living room/kitchen and a terrace with a grill. Beautiful location - private however only half an hour drive from Akureyri. Perfect when coming for whale watching, driving the Diamond Circle. Totally recommending it.

Beautiful location, a small hut. But has good amenities. There is a fridge, bbq and not to far from a small town with a store. And then Akureyri is 30 km away. I would definitely be back. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
