“Sweet stay in a castle”

Our stay was very comfortable, we booked for a night after flying into Athens and our room had everything we needed. The host Natalie was very welcoming and communicative, and very helpful when organising our airport transport. We would definitely stay again and recommend for anyone travelling over to Athens. Whilst the property felt a little far from the main strip, we walked to a Tavern close to the property for dinner and the food was absolutely amazing.

We really enjoyed our brief stay at Castle By the Sea near Paralia Artemidos (Artemis Beach / Loutsa). It was just a 20 minute flat walk from the beautiful beach, and our hosts Natalie and Vangelia made us feel very welcome. We loved the outdoor area, with shady outdoor furniture, which was very relaxing, and grealy appreciated the early check-in. Vangelis also provided affordable, convenient transfers from Piraeus Port, and to the Athens Airport the next morning, which saved us a lot of time and bother!

We had taken advantage of the paid pick up (and drop off) service that is offered by Castle by the Sea which made things so much easier when arriving at the airport. Host Natalie gave clear and easy instructions for where we needed to go to meet Vangeli the Co-Owner/Driver. Both Natalie and Vangeli are super lovely, helpful and friendly. Both were more than happy to have a chat, answer any questions and give suggestions and directions for where to go for anything we wanted/needed. Our garden bungalow was spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean and tidy. There are plenty of cooking facilities available too. It's an easy 15-20min walk to the beach, restaurants and shops, with a mini market just down the road from the accommodation. We had a really lovely, relaxing stay - thanks so much Natalie and Vangeli!!

This place was very unique and quirky. We were looking for somewhere close to the airport for an overnight stay and this place was perfect. We used the pickup and drop off and both were seamless. Communication with the owner was excellent and easy

Really beautiful, really cheap, i would probably have paid twice or more the price given and they were really nice.

“The design and furnishing of this property are astonishing. Well worth the visit!”

The architecture, design and furnishing of this "Castle" are extraordinarily unusual. I can't tell if it used to be the home of a very wealthy, eccentric person or was built for a movie set or is some kind of parody. It's well worth staying here just for the experience. It's truly astonishing. Our room itself was spacious and well equipped, and we had access to a well equipped kitchen and the most amazing lounge area. I wish we had more time to explore the grounds and property.

Spacious and well equiped.

Very good stay. Such a fun place to visit. The cleaning was top notch. I owned a cleaning company for 13 years so I have an impossibly high standard of cleaning- I couldn't find anything that was dirty. That's amazing for a property with so much furniture and soft furnishings. Well done to the cleaning team! Very comfortable rooms. Very close to the airport and the sea.
