The apartment is very cozy, well spaced and fully furnished for daily needs. Parking is available. There are supermarkets, bakeries, shops and restaurants within walking distance. Also a lively town center nearby if you feel like going for a walk in the evenings. The next ferry port is only 15 min away, Athens about 45 min. Beaches nearby are alright, if you are looking for specials, prepare to drive for 30+ min. Our hosts were very kind and helpful, thank you for the Greek hospitality :) We enjoyed our stay very much, really felt at home, and already look forward to visiting again!

Warm, uncomplicated host

Lovely hosts, incredibly friendly, and allowed us an early check-in which was much appreciated. Nice balcony overlooking the garden. Short walk to restaurants, beach, bakery, supermarket. And convenient to get to the airport (which was why we were there).

“Calypso is top!”

We were only there for 16 hours for an overnight stay, but we were still completely satisfied. Thanks for the very nice welcome and the interesting conversation to the hostess. The apartment has everything you need. The accommodation is located in a quiet corner, next door even a small forest and around the corner, the full life, with fine tavernas and beautiful walks along the beach. In our opinion, there is no better place to stay near Athens than in Artemida. We have already stayed in several accommodations in Artemida and can only say that Calypso is top.

“A perfect place to relax!”

We really enjoyed our stay at Calypso Apartments. Angela & Sophie were on hand to meet us on an early check in. They were very helpful, and gave us some wonderful ideas of places to explore in the Peloponnese. Really enjoyed the facilities - spent hours on the covered deck. The beach was just a few minutes away. A perfect place to relax!

The apartment is in a great location - close to the beach and restaurant. The host was very helpful and organised transport to and from the airport. This was especially helpful as there was a taxi strike on the day we were due to fly out. The host was also very kind and let us stay till later in the day which worked well either our flight time. The apartment was nicely decorated especially the bedroom. There was some aeroplane noise audible during the day but this was not really a problem.

“Perfect”

Stayed here overnight before a long international flight as wanted to be close to the airport. It was perfect! While the check out is typically at 12:30 pm, as there were not guests the next day the host let me stay right up to the time I had to go to the airport. This was a lifesaver! Thank you so much! The space itself is spacious, enough for a family of 4, and in great location right next to the beach, shops and many restaurants. Wish I had more time to explore! Beware of taxi drivers though. There is a similar address in central Athens and the taxi driver started taking me there so I paid double the fare on the way to the accommodation! I should have been more onto it but being a single female traveller wasn’t assertive enough with the driver. The host organised a local taxi driver for me back to the airport the next day which was great!

“Nice play to stay near the sea”

The flat is very nice and clean, close to the beach. It is a very good option either to spend a holiday there either for a transit night on the way to or from the airport as it was in our care. The host was very nice and welcoming

Nice, large, appartement located within walking distance from a decent beach while, at the same time, also situated relatively close to the Athens airport. Cute little city that offers the opportunity to make one feel that they are living amongst the locals. Furthermore, Angela is a very friendly host who makes you feel comfortable right from the start and takes the time to give you the "lay of the land" (her family is nice and friendly too).

Overall, great experience. Well located. Breakfast was limited (bread, jam, cookies and coffee).

Angela was a fantastic host. We communicated prior to and during our stay. She kindly organised our taxi to and from the airport through Galaxy Taxi (25€ from the airport and 20€ to the airport). She greeted us upon arrival and let us know of some of the best places to swim and eat (some only 200m away from the apartment) The apartment was well stocked and comfortable, located in a quiet street and private. The gate at the front added to the privacy of the property. Thank you for having us stay Angela!

Wonderful self contained apartment with very big balcony. Wel equipped, spacious, clean, comfortable stay. Near airport and sea, 90 minutes by public transport to Syntagma Square. The owner gives you a great welcome and is very helpful and flexible. No noise from outside when you close windows and use a.c. Supermarkets, restaurants, busstops and bakery nearby. Netflix available.
