Fantastic location, right beside the Museum, and sea views from our front room. Historic building, used as meeting place during WWII etc. Big corner room with 3 windows, separate WC and shower rooms.

Great location in the centre of Arromanches over looking the beach and a public carpark to the rear of this hotel. Hotel room was small but clean. Staff very helpful and friendly.

The most perfect location overlooking the sea

Hotel de Normandie is a wonderful slice of traditional French Hotel accomodation, in Arromanches - the heart of Normandy. The rooms are traditional and comfortable, the location is right on the sea - front .. insight of some of the Mulberry Harbour relics buried in the sandy shore. Many of the places you may wish to visit are close at hand, including St Mere d’Eglise and the new British Monument of Normandy featuring the ‘Walking With Giants’ silouhettes. The Restaurant and service are very good also.

“The hotel is quite dated, our rooms were adequate and clean, and the location is terrific”

Our double room was clean and spacious but the shower needs attention. Also the kettle had to be plugged in by the window as there was no socket near the table. The kettle also kept cutting out and would not boil properly.
