Located in Arromanches-les-Bains, DDay Aviators is 1 minutes' walk from the seafront. DDay Aviators houses a collection of a aeronautical items dating back from the Second World War. The property is also 100 metres from D-Day Museum and 400 metres from Arromanches 360. The rooms features a flat-screen TV with international channels. The enthusiasm of the owner! Help with what to see. We were in the 2nd property very close to the sea. Rooms here had little kitchen too

This is an amazing place. The owner and his wife have lovingly created a place where you can travel back in time. Both the DDay Aviators and DDay Aviators Le Manoir are like a World War II aviation museum, but they are also very welcoming. The comfort of staying was top notch. Of all the places we stayed during our Normandy trip, this was the best sleep we had.

“Unique experience in Arromanches”
Unique property with so many interesting WWII artefacts collected with passion by the owners. Location was perfect for visiting all the museums etc. in Arromanches. Private parking was much appreciated. Friendly welcome and great continental breakfast.

“Quirky Hotel in Arromanches - Not to Everyone's Taste”
If you're looking for somewhere to stay that's packed full of D-Day aviation memorabilia, this is the place. Some of the itens on show, like the ME109 engine used as a table support in the dining room, are very unusual (and interesting). Wi-fi is OK, beds and showers OK too.

“Fantastic!”
Fun! I am so happy we got to stay here at the DDay Aviators but also the village itself. We were on a tour and happened upon staying here and it was a highlight of a fantastic tour. The Owner and Staff were very helpful, the property is filled with wonders all related to the area and history.

“Traveling through time”
It felt like traveling through time. Is like spending the night in a WWll museum, the owner is a passionate collector of original items and the rooms are keeping somehow the styke of the 40’s . He can tell interesting stories about each item. The breakfast is good and the parking safe ( you must reserve in advance I think as it’s a small parking)

“Amazing must-stay place for history buffs”
Beautiful rooms and amazingly unique hotel with an astounding collection of WW2 artifacts. This is a must stay for history lovers. The bedroom itself was gorgeous and tastefully decorated, the bathroom was also stunning with a lovely waterfall shower. Everything is finished to a high standard. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a hotel!
