The location was perfect overlooking Gold Beach with easy access to nearby attractions. The room was clean and comfortable and the host was very friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to welcome us and make our stay memorable.

Location was perfect. View was amazing. The owner, Jacques was a fabulous host. He surprised us and picked us up from the bus station. Everything was absolutely wonderful and we will definitely be back.

The accommodation is smack on the front of Arromanche with beautiful sea views and parking. If you like to watch a sun rise or sunset, then this is the place to bo. Jacques was a fabulous host and could not do enough for us. He went above and beyond to help us upon arrival and as we left. He is such a lovely man with a fabulous welcoming smile that you would find hard to beat elsewhere. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely return.

We based ourselves at Arroplace while visiting the D-Day beaches and museums. The two truly outstanding features were: the location, right in the heart of Arromanches and with a fabulous sea view; and Jacques, the host, who made us feel completely welcomed, and was always on hand with useful advice. If we ever return to this part of Normandy, we will book Arroplace again in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay at Arroplace. Ideally located for enjoying the D-Day Celebrations and the town of Arrowmanches. The room had stunning views of the coastline and the Mulberry harbours and was cleaned everyday. We had everything we could need. Jacques the owner was such a gentleman and the perfect host. We cannot wait to visit again.

great welcome from the host Jaques, despite me being late arriving he was there waiting for me. He ensured my motorcycle was safe and pointed me in the right direction for dinner. nothing was to much for Jaques, great with local knowledge and very friendly, room was very comfortable plenty of Tea/coffee and the view to hold beach was stunning
