Very comfortable. A nice living room area and a small garden outside. The apartment was very well situated in the town, with everything you could want within short walking distance. Secure parking available for one car. The owners were extremely welcoming, hospitable and responsive. The breakfast was also delicious (additional charge payable)

A charming old cottage with a large lounge, bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The hostess Agnes is a lovely lady who can advise about local areas and is really kind and helpful. There is free parking at the back of the property. You can't beat the location as it's in the heart of the old town of Arromanches. Perfect for the beach and seeing local sites. The owner has many interesting books on local history which you can peruse.

Everything! A quirky, very traditional style of accommodation with its own sitting room. Abrigermaine had everything we could need, including secure parking. It was comfortable and clean and Agnes the host was so accommodating. And her breakfasts were amazing! It’s ideally situated for visiting Arromanches - walkable in 5 mins to the town and in a very quiet area. It was perfect for our stay.

We had some lovely days staying at Abrigermaine. Our host, Agnes, was super friendly, helpful and provided lots of information for our visit to the landing beaches. Private locked parking was great. We will be sure to visit again.

A lovely old house in a good location, only a short walk to the centre of Arromanches. The friendly and welcoming host lives adjacent to the premises. We had very good breakfasts, beautifully presented, for an extra charge 12 euros pp per day. Secure off road parking on site.

The owner is amazing, such a lovely person. The apartment is exactly as advertised. Although the breakfast is exceptional and the photographs do not do it justice. Agnes prepared gluten free crepes especially for my wife.

Very central to the town, with off street parking, meant it was really convenient for my young children to walk to the main attractions. Agnès was a very attentive host - we can recommend the breakfast!

Abrigermaine is located in the lovely village/town of Arromanches Les Bains on a street about 5 minutes walk from the centre and the beach. We were met by our host, Agnes, who went out of her way during our stay to make us both welcome and comfortable. The cottage had a rural charm about it, with large rooms and a great bathroom - the shower, especially, was superb. There was a log burner in the living room which was kept lit for us as it was quite a cold week. The garden was well sheltered for when the sun decided to shine!! The breakfasts were absolutely amazing - artistry on a tray!! Agnes was available at all times if we needed any information about the area, and brochures and history books were available to read. There is an excellent small supermarket, Proxi, a few minutes walk from the property; and great cafes/restaurants in the centre, as well as a well stocked boulangerie/patisserie. What more could you want? A trip to Bayeux is a must, either to shop, walk the River Aure or view the tapestry. The Musee and the D Day memorial on the top of the cliff to the east are well worth seeing, as are Longue sur Mer, the British Normandy Memorial at Ver sur Mer and, of course, Pegasus Bridge in Ranville.

Breakfast was excellent, very French and a lovely variety. Location was perfect, right in the centre of a beautiful town of Arrowmanche. The female owner (sorry can’t remember her name) was so lovely and ensured our stay was perfect - she has a gorgeous dog too of which my daughter loved. It really was a perfect little stay and we will return one day for sure. We also loved the little garden to sit in at night, very secure and peaceful.

A beautiful, secluded spot in the heart of Arromanches. Only a 5 min walk to the seafront. A detached property where you not only do you get a room with 2 double beds but also a separate lounge area. Having breakfast in the garden in the morning was blissful!

Agnes the owner is a lovely lady who really wants you to enjoy your stay. Nothing is too much trouble. Greatly appreciated.
