The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. Our room was spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated with unique touches. Breakfast was excellent every morning, and we loved relaxing in the peaceful garden, with plenty of cozy spots to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The location was perfect, and the whole place had such a warm and authentic feel.

A very warm welcome from the owners. Pleasant, spacious, very quiet, and well-appointed, spotlessly clean ground floor room. Large bed with good bedding. Large bathroom with a walk in shower and separate WC. Terrace and grassed area complete with garden furniture was available for relaxation outside. Common room available 24/7, well-equipped (microwave-oven-dishwasher-refrigerator-dishes...etc ) Drinks both soft and alcoholic were available with snacks available if needed. ( Payment via an honesty box ) which was really convenient of an evening saving a trip into town for drinks. Private parking - WIFI works very well. Hearty breakfast with home made fruit salad and jams. Delicious. We stayed for 4 nights and wished it could have been longer. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend it without hesitation.

Great location in very quiet pretty village. Beautifully decorated room which was comfortable and spacious. Beautiful garden to sit in and and separate breakfast area, providing guests a fridge to place personal items. We were offered the option of having an evening meal, which was excellent quality cooked by the owner and beautifully presented. Our dog was also made very welcome.

Comfortable, clean room, comfortable bed, fabulous breakfast, pleasant surroundings. Pleasant, accommodating hosts. Close to the interesting seaside town of Saint Valery, excellent for a stopover or longer stay. We have been before and, hopefully, will be back.

“An unexpected surprise”
The offer of what turned out to be a very high-quality, 3-course dinner on the Sunday night was a very welcome surprise, and great value too. There didn't seem to be anywhere to eat in Arrest itself, so really good after a long drive that day. Beautifully decorated and quite spacious rooms are set around a central courtyard, where dinner was served out on the terrace. A good Continental breakfast is served in an adjoining building, and there's parking on-site.
