The location is fantastic right on the water's edge with a lovely vista of boats and the Gulf. Breakfast was included - good and catered for all tastes. Cooked breakfast was extra. It has a number of features not common in French hotels such as bottled water in the rooms and an electric jug and cups and saucers for tea and coffee making. There is lovely embossed linen on the beds and the staff are very friendly. There is a lot of English spoken. Their restaurant is first class - should have a Michelin star!

Les Venetes rates as a wonderful hotel in our experience. Staying there was a pleasure. From the moment of arrival to the point of departure the people could not have been more welcoming, helpful and relaxing. The location is superb, overlooking the Morbihan directly and the room was beautifully decorated. The balcony(s) in better weather would have been a true delight! We enjoyed dinner which was worthy of a Michelin star and breakfast which were served by professional staff. When we return to the area we will certainly consider a repeat stay.
