The Lady that looked after us was really hospitable & so lovely to talk to, Her home baking is so good, & puts great breakfast on.. Great property, So Clean & great location.... Would differently stay again.. : )

“Authentic, old-world Italian charm and kindness in a lovely Italian town”
Arpino is simply the most beautiful little Italian town and this lovely accommodation is right in the centre, right next to the church, on the square that boasts a statue of Cicero himself. I arrived on a Saturday in the midst of traffic everywhere and street markets; flustered - because I was alone - I could neither find a park nor find the accommodation. I phoned and was told to wait in the square; it turned out that I had been staring right at the correct location - it is on the second floor, above the square, right next to the church. The hostess, speaking little to no English but so absolutely lovely, could not have been more accommodating, more kind, more welcoming. The room - with its little balcony - might not please some; it is old-fashioned and quaint, but to me it was beautiful - just a completely authentic space in a completely authentic Italian town (with no foreigners). The bathroom is modern, and there was a lot of space between the bathroom and bedroom. As I have seen others mention, the noise from the piazza could be an issue; the evening I was there, a man with an electric guitar played just about every sad song from the 70s and 80s. However, when it started to drive me crazy, I retreated from the balcony to the room, closed the French doors, turned on the fan, and just ignored it. It's Italy. It's the summer. People congregate outdoors. Accept it will be noisy - or stay somewhere else, I suggest. Breakfast was very nice - a fresh croissant, fresh juice, cappuccino, fresh fruit. I was fussed over and looked after. It was an absolutely lovely experience. Warmly recommended.
