Overview
Situated at 1,800 metres above sea level, this 4-star superior hotel is a 5-minute walk from Arosa's centre. Waldhotel Spa" and "Family Spa with an indoor panorama pool, 7 saunas, 2 relax areas, a gym, a massage and a beauty area on more than 1.800 m2. The Waldhotel Arosa Superior's rooms feature cable TV and a bathroom with bathrobes and hairdryers. The spacious rooms and suites are panelled with local pine wood. At the Waldhotel Spa ( Adults only) and Familiy Spa Salus wellness area, guests of the Waldhotel can also book massages and beauty treatments. Free WiFi is available in all areas. The Thomas Mann und Zauberberg Restaurant serves a 5-course dinner menu in summer and a selection of 2 5-course dinner menus in winter. The wine list features 450 different wines. The cosy Kachelofa-Stübli (open in winter) was awarded 16 Gault Millau points. It serves classic Swiss cuisine and regional specialities. Guests of the Waldhotel can enjoy live piano music, local music with hand organ sounds and special themed evenings. The hotel complex comprises the traditionally styled Waldhotel and the modern Chesa Silva. The hiking routes and ski slopes of Arosa are situated right next to the Waldhotel Arosa. The kid's club, which is supervised during the winter season, and the Junior Club Arosa offer various in- and outdoor activities. The swimming pool is reserved for children every day from 15:00 to 17:30. In summer, guests benefit from the Arosa Card, which provides free use of cable cars and the regional bus lines, free boat hire, and free access to the Untersee beach area and the ropes course.

Excellent. Ski-in ski-out, incredible breakfast, super spa, really nice staff. Feels like a home from home which is the best thing I think a hotel can achieve.

Good facilities and good hotel location. Our stay was enjoyable till the last evening and an incident that marked our holidays and the first day of the New Year.

Unusual for a Swiss and not ideal to have the spa saunas not open until 13:00. This isn't fair to guests that check out at 11 on the same day and aren't able to make use of the facilities.

“Relaxing family break in a stunning location”
The Restaurant, dining choices and service were all exceptional. The panoramic views from the restaurant were an additional bonus! The children were treated with absolute equality with the adults, which was a wonderful experience for them; the check-in, the little robes and slippers, and the thoughtful little touches like the "Ice-Cream passes" and small gifts just set this place apart from anywhere we've ever stayed, even which claim to be child-friendly. The history of the hotel, the views, the fresh air and the small acts of going above and beyond mean we cannot wait to return and create more fantastic family memories together here.

“best way to go about skiing in arosa”
simply amazing hotel, perfect location, great rooms, attentive staff, very convenient to get on the slope, straight from the ski room, I very rarely give 10/10 this is one of those times
