Just 100 metres from the Kulm Cable Car, Hotel Garni Sonnenhalde enjoys a quiet location on the edge of Arosa. Built in a traditional Swiss chalet style, it offers a spa area with a sauna and a steam bath. “Such a special family owned hotel. We loved everything about it!”
It is a lovely family owned hotel - 3 generations. They take great care to ensure everything is perfect for their guests. Nothing is too much to ask. The staff are wonderful. The views are incredible. Everything is so clean. The location is perfect. We definitely want to go back.

“Perfect accomodations!”

I decided spontaneously to spend the weekend while already in Arosa and so I reserved the room late on Friday (at 18:30). Despite the very late notice, the couple that run the hotel received me and immediately prepared the room for me. Additionally, I needed access to a space in the garage for my electrical mountain-bike, and even got access to the private garage for that purpose. The bedroom was very comfortable and spacious with a nice balcony and view over the mountains. It was a bit pricy but I did not regret my choice. Breakfast room is cosy and the service was very good.
