Our plane was delayed and we arrived at 1am, the host was very kind to wait for us. The house is very simple but provided with towels, shampoo and a confortable bed. He also arranged a taxi for us in the morning which was cheaper than the one we had taken from the airport to get there.

I was very disappointed with the accommodations. This is just some guy’s home he decided to turn into a hotel. It was not very clean. Some used soap in the shower, that someone left behind, shower itself smelled like piss. We had a shared bathroom, no toilet in the room. In the kitchen there was a pile of dirty dishes in the sink. It is not worth 45 euros per night. Do not recommend.

My kids and I had a 12-hour layover in Istanbul between our flights, so I booked this place as it was close to the airport and very reasonably priced. It is a lovely, clean, welcoming place. The host was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Everything was perfect. We had a great experience, and we will definitely return there when we come to Istanbul again.
