“Excellent! An oasis of peace”

Beautifully and tastefully restored house with a spectacular garden right on the doorstep of the Lorraine regional natural park. Room was spotlessly clean, well appointed and tastefully decorated. Very warm welcome by hosts. Parking is not a problem, you can unload your luggage at the front and the public parking is just around the corner.

What a gorgeous place! The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and you can tell they’ve put so much heart into the decor. Every corner has a nicel painting or a unique piece of furniture to look at. Everything was super clean, and the garden view is just so peaceful. We didn't want to leave!

“Old-world charm to the max.”

Downstairs was a fully equipped kktchen, upstairs were the rooms. My room was styled to have an old-fashioned feel, with beautiful accessories. The bathroom had ultra-modern fixtures, but was balanced with the old-world decorations. I loved the idea of going oit and enjoying the garden, but it didn't happen.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La grange aux iseaux and were warmly welcomed by Sylvie. The charming house has been thoughtfully and elegantly renovated to a very high standard. Arnaville is a peaceful little village with La grange aux oiseaux having a beautiful and quiet position with a fantastic garden which we didn't really have time to enjoy. Excellent bathroom and shower, useful kitchen. Thank you.

A beautiful peaceful place. The nature is so beautiful and all around you. The river is down there for a lovely walk the flowers and Silvy the lovely host makes you feel happy. Definitely one of the best places I’ve been

It's a lovely apartment with nice location. Sylvie was very nice and flexible with the check-in. The kitchen is absolutely usable.

A wonderful find. You enter through an unassuming doorway into a beautiful courtyard. Completely secure for our bikes. We had free range of the extensive garden. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The small kitchen was well equipped. Characterful. Sylvie is a very good host - we felt very welcome and were sad to have to leave.

Having ridden for 900Kms my satnav let me down and I was at the end of my tether and endurance. Sylvie et Thierry came out and found me and guided me back to la grange aux oiseaux. Above and beyond, what fantastic hosts.

A kind host who generously shared her beautiful place with us. Large kitchen to use, good bed, nice shower/bathroom. All spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

“Not what it seems from the front!”

An interesting building, it looks like a small house from the front and a chateau from the back. Friendly host. As I was walking the GR5 and there was no restaurant nearby I used the cooking facilities which had all I needed. The owner gave me eggs which I used to make scrambled eggs in the morning with a coffee from the Nespresso machine. Lovely room and bathroom.

This is a beautiful home where you will receive the most friendly welcome. Our host was lovely, warm and helpful (thank you for the wasp bite cream!). Our room was beautiful and comfortable. Lovely views from the garden. Shame we only stayed for one night!

Sylvie was a very friendly and accommodating hosts, and the whole structure has been super cozy and clean. The garden is beautiful, very relaxing and immersed in nature. The position is optimal to visit Lorraine by car, as there is also a free parking nearby. Would totally recommend to couples and families.

This place is amazing. We only spent there one night with our little one but it was the highlight of our weekend trip. It’s the only place I stayed that looked even better than the pics on booking. The rooms and bathrooms are modern and decorated with taste, simple at the same time. It was all clean and tidy. There is one small playing area for kids that our daughter loved. The courtyard and the garden are lovely too. The house itself is a hidden gem. Thank you for having us!
