“Disappointing + expensive - our group had to separate + cost 100s in wasted food & accommdation.”
The property had regular power cuts, which the owner said happened a lot. It was worse at the property as we sat in darkness seeing lights everywhere else. Despite the owner knowing this - he told us it happens all the time - he has not installed a generator. We spent 200 euros on food - most of which had to be thrown out because the fridge was going off for hours at a time. The kitchen stank of damp and mold and the cupboards really needed airing.

“a relaxing stay on a beautiful and calm island”
First of all, for the price of this place, the views were incredible! The villa is about a 10 minute drive up the mountains from the port so I would HIGHLY recommend hiring a car. There are plenty of places to get a car and it won’t break the bank either. There are so many beautiful villages and beaches on Tinos but you do need a car to access them. One of the best things about our stay was the hospitality! We felt so looked after and welcomed at this villa and any questions that we asked they were met with all help that could be given to us. Our flights were leaving late and it was a particularly hot day so we were unsure where we would go but we were allowed to stay by the pool all day! We were even provided towels to use as well. It was an overall beautiful trip and I would recommend this property to anyone (families, groups of friends or even solo travel) who wants a peaceful retreat away from noise and crowds.
