Ted and Lesa were super hosts and spent time making us welcome and showing us what they had done to the property. Everything we needed was provided, and a great bed meant we slept very soundly.

Lovely place to stay, kept in a quirky old times style, huge exposed beams, huge fireplaces, wonky floors, all added to the feel of a 14th century building. Nice to have a very modern bathroom 😀. Secure parking, great if you’re looking for somewhere to stay with a motorcycle.

Both breakfast and particularly the evening meal were fantastic as were the hosts. Lovely spot in very rural France but with easy access from the main road system.Building has a very interesting history and character and it was lovely to be there, Very sympathetic restoration is happening and the modernisations for comfort for a holiday stay are very sympathetic to the period of the building

An absolutely beautiful property in a lovely location. The room was superb and the best was the most comfortable I have slept in for a long time. Breakfast was amazing with a really great selection. We really didn’t want to leave. I would strongly recommend this to anyone.

What a fantastic place! Peaceful, cosy, comfortable and had everything we needed. A big comfortable bed, plentiful food which was tasty and good value and being the only guests that day we monopolised the lovely Lesa and Ted. They were great hosts with interesting stories about the property and we probably kept them talking for way longer than they wanted!

Ted and Lesa are very friendly and welcoming. Lesa cooked a tasty three course meal. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The rooms are finished to a high standard, with lots of historical details that enhance the atmosphere and experience. We didn't want to leave, and we will be back .

The relaxed charm, warm welcome, the comfort of the room. We had wonderful meals at both breakfast and dinner time. The magnificent old buildings added to the interest staying there. Our hosts added greatly to our knowledge and enjoyment. Thanks very much!!

We enjoyed seeing the Chateau and the renovations that had been done. It was a beautiful property with so much history and character.

The location and hosts were brilliant, the chateau is stunning as are the grounds and the area. We were greeted on arrival and told some history of the chateau and then shown to our room which had everything we needed for a one night short stop. We attended a fete in a nearby village later on which again was a great introduction to the area. We were also given a takeaway breakfast the morning we left as we had to get on the road early, was nice to meet a fellow Leeds member of staff the next morning as well.

Ted and Lisa have done a great job in restoring this 13 century chateau- a unique environment in a wonderful location.. Lisa is a great cook and Ted an attentive host- both ably supported by Mandy. The whole team made us feel very welcome and both our dinner and breakfast were exceptionally good.

Super friendly hosts who made our stay memorable. We had been following the renovation of the property and it was great to actually be able to stay there. We had excellent dinners and breakfast and can highly recommend this property.

We were treated like old friends. We, at our request, were given a tour of the Chateau showing completed, ongoing, and future work.

fantastic place to Stay . Will definitely return. What a building and the history in it. Fantastic villages nearby to visit. We dined at the chateau for 2 evenings . The food was excellent. A hidden gem 💎.

Lesa,Ted and Mandy were all so helpful, friendly, nothing was to much for them. We brought our elderly relative and she was made to feel very welcomed and they were able to accommodate all her needs, they were so genuinely caring and kind people. The breakfast was lovey and plentiful, had option of eggs to go with the continental breakfast, very filling, coffee was excellent as was the three course evening meal. We felt right at home and didn't want to leave. Lesa was very informative with the information in the rooms, local places to go, markets, bars and restaurants, places of interest. We would 100% recommend to our family and friends and to any one else to come and stay.
