Location, coffee tour, breakfast

This was our splurge night in Colombia. We did their coffee tour with Gustavo which was excellent. The hacienda is a bit difficult to get too (our driver managed it fine but it's not straightforward). The infinity pool (wasn't expecting that!) is chilly but has amazing views. The dinner was OK, nothing special (had better street food for a lot less money) but was OK. The bedrooms are nice but don't expect a lie in with the dog and chicken noises coming through the shutters :-). We would recommend and use again and it's good for couples but you need your own car or driver i would suggest. The coffee plantation grounds are lovely to wander around but i suspect, again, you need to book the tour to access these properly.

Amazing stay in a unique location! The hacienda is just incredible. It’s super well kept, beautiful facilities and lovely staff. It’s an oasis hidden in the coffee region. The breakfast is very complete and and the options for lunch and dinner are great. They could increase the number of vegetarian dishes though. The coffee tour is a must, it was the best experience during our entire trip to Colombia. It’s unlike anything we’ve ever experienced before, do not miss it!

“Stay in an organic biodiverse coffee plantation!”

We enjoyed the meals and fresh food. Staff was very nice. The pool and the birds we could watch was so spectacular. The coffee plantation tour was very special and educating.

The tranquility is surrounded by nature, exceptional restaurant and really friendly and attentive service. The quality and creativity of the food really exceeded my expectations. The room was a good size and I especially enjoyed the private terrace with a comfy hammock. A really good educational tour about coffee on-site.

“Great place beautiful hacienda”

Location and food was great but the best was Jordi, amazing service.

Simply amazing, one of the most beautiful hotels we've stayed in. Every single member of staff was super helpful and friendly but shout out to Jordi in the restaurant who went the extra mile. If you stay, book the coffee tour.

On picture the property seems very nice. The reality is different. The only nice thing is the nature surrounding the property.

An oasis!!! Gorgeous gardens with amazing birdlife, lovely staff and good food. Plus a fabulous pool! Also a beautiful old building.

“Amazing Location. Beautiful Nature. Worst Service.”

Hacienda Combia is located very nicely in the middle of cacao/banana plantains and has a stunning view. From the pool you got an amazing view and swimming is allowed until 10 pm. The hacienda has the charm of an old Colombian hacienda which is what we expected. Some animals are sharing the garden space with you and you have many birds and plants around. BUT: the Poolboy and the Housekeeping is amazing and very attentive!

“Hotel Hacienda Combia surpassed our expectations in providing a beautiful, memorial experience”

The staff, especially Jordy, was exceptionally kind, helpful, and attentive. The facilities were very clean. The entire property, including the building itself, is beautiful and it was certainly fun to have Tito the cat around. The views from the property are spectacular as well. The coffee tour is a MUST! I am surprised it is not included in the price of stay but it is worth the extra cost, super easy to book, and the guides are great. I think it is very special you get to help make two souvenirs for yourself on the tour. It was great to see the efforts the staff makes to keep up the ecosystem and utilize the land sustainably including having fresh garden herbs! We had a delicious lunch and two great dinners! It was great that the hotel was not crowded so we felt we could relax where we wanted to. As an added bonus, the hotel is only a 30-45ish minute drive to several neighboring towns that were great to explore! We went to Filandia for the afternoon which allowed us to see both the countryside and several other towns. Armenia was a very easy airport to fly in and out of and only 20-30 min away from the hotel by car.
