Overview
Directly located on the seaside promenade and close to a bike path, Hotel Svizzera is in Arma di Taggia, 8 km from Sanremo. It offers a traditional restaurant with sea view serving Ligurian specialities and international cuisine. Svizzera Hotel features comfortable rooms with a satellite TV, safe and air conditioning. The private bathroom is complete with a bath or shower, a set of toiletries and a hairdryer. Some rooms have a balcony overlooking the sea and the beach. “Friendly traditional hotel on the seafront.”
I arrived late in the evening but the staff were very welcoming and managed to squeeze me in to the restaurant before the kitchen closed. Nice traditional hotel. Comfortable, friendly, nice breakfast.

“A little paradise away from the crowd”
Perfect hotel along the beach Rooms are facing the ocean. Sunrise was magic. The staff was very helpful with his guests, taking time to answer to all question. A hotel to keep in the favourites.

It was a last-minute reservation because of unexpected changes in our trip itinerary. - the staff was kind and helpful - the rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable, everything was clean. - the hotel is at the beach boulevard, and the bedrooms at the seaside have balconies with amazing views - the breakfast was included and it was excellent It's not a new or modern hotel, but if your priorities are location, comfort, and price, hotel Svizzera is the best choice! P.S. This hotel is at the beach boulevard, which means you can't park your car next to the hotel (boulevard only for pedestrians). But there's lots of free parking space at only 2-3 minutes walking.

The walls are paper thin. A huge group of teenagers checked in on all floors and neighbouring our room between 23.00 and 24.00 in the night. After several attempts to ask for silence they did not stop shouting, screaming, slamming doors and windows, running and shouting in the corridors and making all kinds of other noises. This was going until even after 04:00 in the morning. We maybe had only 1 to 2 hours sleep. The staff wasn't there to help and could not help at all. They refused any refund. The room is very old and uncomfortable. The bathroom stinks of sewer water. Be kind to yourself and do not come here.
