I had first expected to find a hotel for our visit to Arklow but, when there was no availability, I widened the search and found Moneylands. This proved to be a most fortunate piece of luck: a 2 bedroom self-catering apartment was so much better than a hotel room when sharing with a snoring brother! To add to the bonus practicalities of an apartment, was the view to Arklow and the sea. The Moneylands complex has been well designed and appointed.

We had a wonderful stay at Moneylands. The apartment was beautiful, spacious, and fully equipped with fantastic bedrooms and bathrooms, offering everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was peaceful and perfect for exploring Arklow, including the Heritage Museum, as well as nearby highlights such as Glendalough Monastery, Avoca Handweavers, and Ballinastoe Park, where the views over the mountains and valley are absolutely breathtaking. From enjoying a morning coffee to cooking dinner at the end of the day, everything was easy and enjoyable thanks to the very well-equipped kitchen. The welcome on arrival by Monika from the complex was excellent — very informative, professional, and friendly. She was also always happy to have a nice chat. We would highly recommend this complex to anyone visiting Arklow or the Wicklow Mountains area in Ireland. Top!

I'll start with the welcome from Monica. So good, friendly and helpful. Commination before arriving was excellent. We were given key with assurance that anything we needed at anytime all we had to do was ask. We didn't need anything as there was more than enough of everything you could want. The apartment was beautiful and spotless clean. Roomy with everything you need right there We will definitely go back. And we might even play tennis next time.....

“A peaceful, well-run countryside escape”

We stayed at Moneylands Farm for a long weekend (three friends) and absolutely loved it. The setting is peaceful and beautifully kept, and our accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxed few days. Check-in was easy, parking was straightforward, and communication before and during our stay was clear and friendly. After busy weeks at work, it was exactly the reset we were hoping for. The beds were super comfy, showers hot, and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches that made it feel welcoming rather than “just another place to sleep.” Moneylands Farm is a great base for exploring the surrounding areas but also the kind of place you’re happy to come back to early and just unwind. We left feeling refreshed. Highly recommend for small groups or friends looking for a calm, well-run countryside stay.
