I chose Arkasa Palace because I had read so many reviews mentioning Maria and her mom, how kind, friendly, and helpful they are, and everything people wrote was absolutely true. :) Maria is a lovely and caring person, and her mom is just as warm and welcoming. Maria even gave us an upgrade, which made our stay even more special. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The staff were also very friendly, and the rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day, which made our stay even more comfortable. Maria was always happy to help us with recommendations for beaches to visit and great places to have dinner, and her suggestions were excellent. The hotel is in a perfect location for anyone looking to relax and enjoy a peaceful stay. There are also a few very nice restaurants within walking distance, which was very convenient. Thank you so much to Maria and her mom for making our stay so memorable and comfortable. We truly appreciated your kindness and hospitality. We definitely want to come back in the future! We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Karpathos.

“Just perfect!”

We had a fantastic stay at the Arkasa Palace, it's a true gem. Perfectly located to explore the Southern part of the island, super easy and quickly to be reached from the airport, beaches super close by, but also lovely Arkasa with delicious restaurants, shops and a supermarket in walking distance. Our room was spotless, spacious and super relaxing including a private pool and stunning views towards the sea. Breakfast is served next to the pool with a perfect selection, super delicious! Our host Maria is a beautiful, super friendly and lovely person, we felt welcome from the first second. We will definitely come back!

“Amazing”

We had a private villa with our own pool with a beautiful seaview. Every morning we had a great breakfast from Maria and her mother. They were so lovely and kind to us. Even though we are no morning people, they made us feel welcome and happy. 😉 The villa was proper, stylish furniture and spacious. Arkasa is not that big but there are fantastic tavernas nearby. We recommend hiring a car (Maria arranged the car) for all hotspots on the island. We had a great stay, thank you so much!

We had a wonderful stay at these boutique villas on Karpathos. The owner, Maria, was incredibly kind and helpful, she gave us many great recommendations that made our stay even better. We also want to compliment the cleaning staff, both cleaners were outstanding. They did their job with excellence, and were always friendly and smiling. Thanks to them, everything was spotless throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious, the atmosphere by the pool was perfect, and the whole place had a warm and welcoming vibe. We would absolutely recommend staying here and would love to return!

Hospitality of the owners, it is a family run accommodation. One get help at any time for any time. Very nice breakfast. Early check-in was possible!

“The best choice in Karpathos”

We stayed at Arkasa Palace for our one-week “baby moon” and couldn’t be happier about our choice. We loved our spacious and quiet room. The breakfast was great and rich and lovely Maria made our stay particularly comfortable and smooth (she helped us rent a car directly from the airport for a good price prior to our stay). Last but not least, the village of Arkasa was a great choice compared to Pigadia or Amoopi: quiet and authentic, with plenty of lovely and traditional restaurants, yet at good driving distance to the some of the best beaches on the island.

“Reality check”

The private pool was exposed to everybody,so privacy is not existing.Outside seating was a table and two chairs in front of the exterior air conditioning machine.Matress of low quality.Overpriced for what you get.

Maria was a fantastic host and was so welcoming and friendly. Arkasa Palace is very nice and well located! Breakfast was very good.

“Relaxing and beautiful”

The property is beautiful. Everything looked just like in the pictures. Our room was cosy and well equiped with bathrobes and shower supplies and got cleaned every day. The place is a short 15 min. walk to St. Nikolas beach and a 10 min. walk to center street of the town. Including a nice cocktail bar nearby! But what truly made this place special was Maria and her family(in-law). They were so welcoming, kind, caring and would be there whenever we needed it! Highly recommend staying here if you enjoy quiet, good food, and relaxing!

This property was so far beyond what we expected. Maria and her team were unbelievably kind and considerate, they were such a highlight of the stay. The facilities were immaculately maintained and the location was a short 10-15 minute walk from the town centre and the beach. As a result of some of the rooms having private pools we had the main pool to ourselves a lot of the time which was a bonus.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was the best experience ever!! Maria was so lovely and helpful, no request was too much. She gave us some amazing recommendations of where to visit and she was so right!! The beaches are stunning and the towns are so pretty. Definitely worth renting a car to have a look at the whole island. The room was stunning and clean, and breakfast every day was amazing. It's definitely the best breakfast we have ever had at a hotel. It's a short walk from the town so perfect location, lots of lovely restaurants nearby and shops so we could cook if we didn't want to go out which we did. The whole experience was perfect and we will be back again!!

Beautiful & tasteful accommodation outside a small town The host family are remarkable people who make each & every guest very welcome Nothing is too much trouble & they are positive & pleasant whenever you interact with them There is a wide range of suites available, even the smallest one is spacious, light & comfortable The pool is well-maintained & a swimming beach is close to the property Would recommend hiring a car as the island is attractive to discover & public transport is limited.
